I was told that the pick up time selected when ordering online is not the time the order would be ready, but rather the time they would start Preparing the food.
Sounded like this was an issue with every order that went out the door. Probably will not be returning due to service.
My wife’s bone in wings were cold and undercooked. My chicken tenders that were supposed to be tossed in buffalo has no sauce on them and they were covered in oil and overcooked. Our French fries were also overcooked. And my chicken sandwich… was not recognizable as food. I tried to take a bite and it was not edible. I threw it away without eating any of it.
The people working at this location have never seemed to care, and the food is always 20+ minutes late.
Read the reviews people—avoid this location!
On Sunday, we received a text message at 4:45 pm from Grub Hub saying our driver was at the store, waiting to pick our order up. Then, at 5:10 pm, we received an email stating that our order had been canceled -without any explanation.
We then called the store to find out what was going on. A nice young lady answered the phone and after telling her of our issue, explained that Grub Hub had canceled all deliveries due to no drivers. She did advise that they did still have our order, but due to being so overwhelmed with orders, it would be at least 30 minutes before our order would be ready.
Now, keep in mind it is now 5:15 pm. I advised that I would call back at 5:45 pm to make sure the order was ready.
At 5:45 pm, I call back and spoke to another female, who advised that our food isn’t ready, as it is order 37 out of 60 orders they still haven’t cooked yet. After a short discussion, she took my name and number and said she’d call me when the order was coming up so I could pick it up – should be ready at 6:10 pm. Now, as we live within 2 miles of the store, I decided to just drive over there at 6:10 pm and wait.
When I arrived at the store a little after 6:13 pm, I was greeted with the sight of about 10 other customers waiting on food with some sacks on a pick up table, but no one could tell me where our order was. I was finally told that our food was being worked on. While patiently waiting, I struck up conversations with other hungry patrons and heard their stories. Others were having similar experiences as I was having – placed orders on Friday and Saturday, all hoping to avoid the rush. The staff then advised us that they were doing well until about 3:00 pm that afternoon when they were hit with orders for over 1,000 wings. Problem is, the store can only cook and get orders out for about 200 wings an hour. Do the math. The staff advised they were not taking any more call-in or walk-in orders, but by company policy, they had to accept on-line orders.
I actually felt sorry for the staff as they were doing their best, but were just absolutely being buried with new orders.
Finally, after waiting another 45 minutes, our name was called and I was able to head home with our order.
On top of everything else, we were charged a delivery fee and tip – with no offer for a refund.
Tomorrow, both the store and corporate are going to get calls about what a poor experience this evening has been.
I’ll be VERY curious if we get any sort of response from this review, other than the boilerplate, probably AI generated response.
We will have to think long and hard before we EVER drop over $100 at Wing Stop again.
I ordered the 8 piece boneless combo online for pickup. It was ready when I arrived. Their tea machine wasn’t working so I got soda instead. There was a sign on the door saying that masks are required but the employee who gave me my drink had his mask under his chin.
I got to the park where I was going to eat and realized, upon opening the sealed bag, that they didn’t include napkins or utensils.
I ate the boneless wings with my hands – hot Buffalo on half and Cajun on the other half.
They were heavily sauced, which I appreciate, but the meat wasn’t very good. One piece in particular was very fatty and I spat it out.
The corn had potential, but all the seasoning was on the core, not the kernels (you know, the part you actually eat).
Overall, it wasn’t bad, but I probably won’t be back. Too many better options nearby.
