What an terrible food experience. Just not good. Vegan in NYC is supposed to be an incredible experience and this failed in many fronts.

The restaurant is quiet and almost completely empty depending on the time of day. The staff is nice. There are a FEW items on the menu that I believe are NOT VEGAN friendly. So just be cautious if you are vegan. There are different locations in the Burroughs so you if you aren’t down for this spot, try another. The food was good, but I still tend to ask for extra sauce on the side.

Seriously amazing. I had the General Tso’s (soy) “chicken” and it was just as good if not better than any actual chicken I’ve ever ordered. The portions were great and the menu was not too pricy. The food came out fast and hot and the ambiance was modern and very pretty – definitely suitable to bring a date and have a nice experience. Would highly recommend.

First and last time ordering from this place. It was very dry and taste barbecue, far from pad Thai. I was very disappointed

Decent curry & pad Thai. We came here because we spotted outdoor seating and the menu was extensive with lots of yummy sounded items! But the food was served in delivery in a take out bag – a little confusing but the restaurants owners seemed super nice.

This is by far my favorite vegan restaurant. If I had to vote to go here or somewhere else, this spot would get my vote every time. I always get the same thing, pumpkin soup, Indian pancakes and Pad Thai. All are so good and tasty especially the Pad Thai if you’re a noodle person. The sweet and sour, and general tso are to die for as well. If you are a mushroom person, try the jade mushrooms with ramen noodles – it’s a good combo. If you want something that taste like McDonald’s chicken nuggets then go for the crispy soy protein as an appetizer. For dessert, peanut butter bomber is so rich, and delicious if you are a chocolate person. If you’re not then hands down get the pumpkin cheesecake!!!!!

WOW! Couple of vegan tourists from the vegan capital (Portland OR) of the world so we know vegan food. Everything was 10/10 exceptional, the menu is overwhelmingly good with options. The curry is one of the best I’ve had. Definitely worth a stop!

Another sad day for vegan cuisines… I am always hesitant to rate vegan restaurants low, but sometimes it must be done. Wild Ginger gets two stars for having a clean restaurant and nice staff.

The food was inedible. I ordered the black pepper seitan lunch special. I have ordered this many times from other Wild Ginger’s. There was so much pepper in the sauce, it was almost black. There were three pieces of seitan that were shaved down from the original sized piece so essentially one and a half pieces of seitan cut into slivers and 3 slivers of oyster mushroom. I wiped the sauce off so as to eat. The broccoli and rice were soaked in sauce, had to toss. The spring roll was mushy and the miso was bland. If I closed my eyes, I would think I was drinking salt water. I *rarely* leave reviews and I have never left a bad one but this was really disappointing and a waste of money. NYC has a lot of amazing restaurants and vegan ones at that. Do not waste your money or appetite here.

This restaurant has seriously gone downhill and they are now omitting main ingredients from dishes. The avocado tartare was missing the mountain yam and the sauce did not have lime or wasabi but instead just soy sauce mixed with vinegar. The kabocha squash soup is supposed to have beans but it was just chunks of squash floating in broth. The summer rolls are much smaller than they used to be. Very disappointed.
