Yes, it’s located I a Chevron station. But the restaurant and the convenience store are attractive, clean and inviting. I had the Wicked fries (French fries, mac n cheese, chopped chicken and kosher pickles) and my dining companion had the two sandwiches meal. Both were delicious! I recommend this cute little diner. Pleasant people working there, too!

I was pleased with my visit and purchase. I ordered the (2) chicken sandwich meal by mistake. I never would’ve known that a meal would be offers with two sandwiches. the plate was about $13 with tax. Honestly when you think about it two chicken sandwiches and fries to share is not a bad deal at all. Now on the the food. The food did not disappoint. That’s not saying it was amazing though. The chicken was juicy the seasoning was wonderful. The meal was clearly made fresh to order. If your into Nashville chicken sandwiches you might want to give them a shot. I did notice they were short staffed so I bet on a busy day one can get frustrated waiting for one person to do it all. Just be mindful of how many people are working before you order. It could immediately ruin your experience before it starts. I will definitely give them another shot since a lot of people were raving about the tenders and catfish in the reviews. I’m not a fan of the sauce but that’s just me. It’s similar to a canes style sauce. I’m just not a fan of those type of sauces. I’m sure people love it though.

Fantastic Nashville hot chicken from a small shop in a gas station. Chicken was juicy, crispy, and full of flavor that could be noticed even over the Wicked Cluckin Hot heat level I tried. Fries were fresh, crispy, and dusted with their blend of seasonings. Only complaint is the wait for anything more than one person. ORDER AHEAD and you’ll have no issues though!

The bomb! Lol This place has the best chicken I’d ever tasted this year. I ordered the mild flavor, Seasoned perfectly, as well as cooked just right. The fries were just as good as the chicken to me. I love the set up of the food inside of the container. I’m eager to try the next item on the menu already!

I had the 3 piece tenders. Medium was a little hot for me. The chicken was so tender and juicy that I didn’t mind. Can’t wait to go back and have the next milder. Don’t worry about the atmosphere, it’s a gas station but the food was fantastic!

HUGE fan of their food, favorite spot to eat at but the workers have gone downhill. It’s the cooks for me, they started using a noticeable different brand of pickles, doesn’t taste the same at all. I use to be a cook, im cool w the pickles, cool, alright. What got me is the mac & cheese I ordered was all crusty, and hard. They drizzled a tablespoon of cheese on top to make it look good, but it’s not edible at all.. I understand why you would do this, but I don’t understand how you could be that lazy. It was 7pm there’s no reason you should be running low on product and not cook more. I’d rather wait longer than to receive a meal that was half done.

Wicked Good Chicken is found inside The Hawk Stop gas station convenient store. I wouldn’t normally get chicken from a place like this but I’m glad I did! The restaurant part of the store is very clean, as is The Hawk Stop and being National Fried Chicken Day when I was in Red Oak, I really had no choice. : ) I got the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich with fries which was really good. It was a crispy piece of chicken that was seasoned well. Fries weren’t my favorite but the chicken was excellent.

EDIT: Changed to 1 star because the business’s response below shows proof of an attitude/service problem here. The food was not ordered through Doordash. They said their online system has something to do with Doordash, which is their issue. There’s nowhere to post a video as a response to a review but be my guest. Hardworking family or not good service is good service. Let’s not forget a hard working family is spending their money at this business. The order was remade as it should have been, and then slammed, jerked, whatever verbiage you’d like to use because that’s why she checked to make sure it was closed inside and didn’t waste out after it happened.
