Outstanding find for breakfast using Google Maps. The local folks highly recommend this restaurant, and it is apparent why they do. The food is delicious. The servers do a great job here and are very friendly and professional. The food came out quickly and as it was ordered. There was plenty of free parking in their lot.

We ate an early supper Thursday and had the special. Fried pork chops candied carrots and pinto beans with fried cornbread, it was awesome. Great service and at 10 dollars it was very good. Going to be visiting a lot more often.

The steak was ok. Everything else was solid! And so affordable. Seldom do I give a five star when the food isn’t five stars, but the ambiance just feels homey to warrant it. Beyond that, at 6AM, the locals are already there eating – a sign of the area.

Our first time, the Manhattan roast beef was great, the wife had a whitefish sandwich and it was also great according to her. We will go back.

Just a simple, mom-and-pop restaurant. The menu had a good selection but was extensive. We started with cheesy fries. They were just OK. I thought the menu said they were covered with chili and cheese, but they only had cheese and bacon pieces. I’m pretty sure they cooked the fries put them in the little basket, sprinkled the cheese and bacon, and then nuked it all. The fries had that microwaved fry taste (just slightly). I had the pork tenderloin for my entree with mashed potatoes (with brown gravy) and green beans for sides. The pork was good but not great. It was thinly sliced and on the verge of being dry. Luckily, there was enough “juice” in the plate to keep it from being too dry. The potatoes and beans were both really good. It also came with either Texas toast or cornbread (the flat style…we call ’em hoecakes). I opted for the hoecakes, and they were really good. The service was friendly and the prices were decent. It is worth a return visit. (Sorry about the pictures. I didn’t think about taking them until we were nearly done.

Bourbon Chicken was so tuff I couldn’t chew it. Thinking it was a bad piece I ask for another. Was brought another piece and it was the same. The waitress never came back to see if my Chicken was ok. Instead she left to go work in their little retail shop and sent someone else to give us our Check. It already had a 20 percent tip loaded on the bill. Not once did she check on us or offer refills. Why did she think she deserved a 20 percent tip. The meat was not eatable so I only had 2 little bowls of vegetables to eat.

We go to Cedarwood on a regular basis, mostly for breakfast. We’ve always enjoyed our food, the service is normally pretty good, it can be a little overwhelming if you go at a Busy time, I like the vibe, but my kids think it’s too much hustle & bustle.

Wonderful service and the food was amazing! Some of the reviews had me a bit nervous but I’m SOOO glad I decided to try it for myself! The fried pork chops weren’t dry and were thick! Don’t let the picture fool you, they weren’t small! My husband enjoyed his shrimp and fries! He said the fries were the best he’s ever had in a restaurant! So delicious! We will definitely be back! Great down home kinda food!

We had a group of us on motorcycles and stopped in. Our waitress (Lizzie Daughtry) gave us great service, the cook whomever they were did an awesome job, food was fabulous and it was reasonably priced, also gives a military discount
