Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

It was completely lacking in customer service. It took way too long, first to take an order at the speaker and the at the drive up window. Just day at the drive up window for several minutes, didn’t take my payment or give me drinks. By the time the food did came out it was cold and the fries were gross

This whataburger has gone down hill ….I have had multiple bad experiences with my food and customer service. They are rude and don’t seem to care at this location. When they get your order wrong, they act like you did something wrong. Just a bad location

I don’t know what the hype about whataburger is. We waited in drive thru 20 minutes for our order. We ordered a Cobb Grilled chicken salad and they gave us a bacon salad. Then they said they were cooking the chicken strip and when I got it the chicken it was cold. The fries were half full. The manager brought my order out. He was unprofessional. There was no thank you or have a good day. He just put the bag in my hand and walked off. It was not worth the time or wait.

I just ordered drive through and forgot an item. So I went inside and ordered. The cashier was very nice and polite. It was very clean inside too. I didn’t really care for the female employee bringing our food to us. She was snapping her chewing gum and walking really enthusiastically. It gave a bad vibe to an otherwise nice visit.

This location is just the worse. They offer curb side pickup but they never bring out your food, and if they you is either 30 minutes later because you had to call, or go inside to pickup your food and your food is cold. This is even if they are not busy. Employees look like they hate their job, or get bother to do their duties. When it first opened it was amazing but now it seems like management doesn’t really manage well nor pay attention to orders when they come through.

This location is horrendous and needs to be investigated by corporate. I visited this location in the evening on 04/02/23. I was trapped in the drive thru for over one HOUR. Their drive thru is designed in such a way that once you enter, you cannot get out even if you wish to. After placing my order for 2 milkshakes, I proceeded forward in the outside drive thru lane. An employee came to my car window, verified my name, and stated my total was $7.95. I assumed she was going to process my payment with the tablet device she was holding, but she proceeded to just grab my card and walk away. She went back inside the building and disappeared for 10 mins. I then received a notification that my credit card had been charged $16.55, more than DOUBLE my order. When the employee returned to my car, I explained that I had been charged incorrectly. She seemed very confused, said she would “look into it,” and disappeared back into the restaurant for ANOTHER 10 mins. She returned with several pieces of paper and said the original (incorrect) transaction was voided and my card was re-charged for the correct amount. She then handed my my two milk shakes that were incorrect, I had ordered a medium chocolate and small strawberry shake and they gave me a medium strawberry and a small chocolate. They didn’t give me straws or napkins, and the outside of both cups were dripping with milkshake. This was one of the worst fast food experiences I’ve ever had in my life. Whataburger had better hope they truly voided the wrong charge to my card or I will be pursuing a fraud case against them. Avoid at all costs.
