Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I have looked over reviews about service. I’m wondering if it has anything to do with management. The lady manager was yelling all those employees almost the whole time we were eating inside. Loud and clear for the busy lobby to hear. The manager with the Whataburger bow clip in her hair and the lady with the striped shirt walked out with these grins like they owned that place. When they left it looked like the employees took a deep breathe of some relief. The young petite girl with a gray shirt was extremely kind and attentive, despite having to deal with these so called managers. I’m sure these employees don’t say anything out of fear. Very sad. Disgusting how employees get treated, it’s not that serious ladies.

Stop by driving to Ft. Worth. . Ordered our food. The young lady taking order was very nice and polite. We waited about 20 mins for our food. While waiting, about 3 people walked in complaining that their food was cold or not correct that they received from the drive-thru.

The food is great, but these poor employees are being worked to death. You can tell they’re trying and doing what they can, but they need more staff. We did curbside pickup, and it took over an hour to get our food. I am a local, and it is always like this. Corporate, where are you at? Help out your team!

Horrible service. Placed an online order 30 minutes ago and still never received my food. Sitting in the lobby while drive through if going faster. How does that make any sense? Of course I gotta go work in the morning and can’t even get a fast food meal.

Was passing thru the other day and needed some quick food. Usually, the go to place in Central Texas, but not here. French fries were stone cold and when i got the burger realized they gave me the wrong one. The entire order was wrong minus the drink, as i ordered/paid for a large and not a med. I ordered the patty melt and got a cold regular burger. I would have went back, however was on a long trip back home from CO. Very disappointed.

Took over an hour to get my food.. finally had to ask for a manager so I could get my money back because it took so long.. manager came out with my order, didn’t want it anymore because of how long it took.. asked for my money back.. got my refund and they gave me the food anyways.. was only 2 minutes from mine and my wife’s hotel room.. got to the room and food was cold.. like had been sitting out for an hour cold. Food was poorly put together, my 3 yr Old can make a better burger than they did.

Long waits and dirty tables; totally disappointed about my experience at this Whataburger! They have drive-thru and lots of free parking; nevertheless the service and food are unacceptable. Took forever for my one-burger order to get ready.
