Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

This location is very clean, and the staff is attentive. Especially Brook, she was walking around making sure nobody needed anything. She even came to our table and offered to take our tray and trash. I will definitely come here again. Great customer service is always a plus.

Ordered using their app. Snag with the app the first time I placed the order. Strike one. Got the southern double meat special. Not satisfying. Not enough sauce. Bland and the cabbage is a mistake. Won’t order that again. Prepared and ready to go pretty quickly. Store and service are good. Just don’t order that special.

Lady that took our order appeared to be annoyed that we had questions about the menu. Gave snarky remarks. Part of our order was incorrect. Luckily we were dining in and they were able to fix it. Food and shakes were good and is the only reason I gave 2 stars. I recommend the banana pudding shake.

One of the breakfast makers literally did add my requested item she sounded very confident and some way proud that she did that was so weird but still fix it right next time I felt disrespected even though I love whataburger so yeah plus they weren’t seeming as busy I understand how restaurant service is but still I hope she gets rest for her next shift unless she doesn’t work hard enough or it is who she is yes the management team member handled the situation well but still please don’t do this I work too I get it but I felt very singled out thanks for trying y’all’s best I was so hungry I want more but I was also broke so I spent all my money that morning and your welcome I’ll be back as soon as all my bills are paid

The Whataburger on SPID next to Popeyes is disappointing. Been there many times and everything has been great. Not sure if they changed staff or if it’s something else…. because recently the food isn’t cooked right and the service is extremely slow. The staff isn’t hospitable either

Whoever is the manager for scheduling and the manager on night shift, specifically on Monday may 29th at 2:03am needs to be fired. I waited in line for over 20 min. The line did not even move an inch. That is a failure on management. Luckily there are other restaurants in the area that are capable of serving customers in a reasonable manner.

Wait time was super long but the staff was so nice and kept apologizing for the wait. They really saved the experience. Fries and hash-browns were cold but the sandwiches were hot and fresh.
