Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I ordered through DoorDash, and the food arrived quickly and still hot and fresh. I got a patty melt (no onions), a large fries, and jalapeño ranch dip. Everything was really delicious and satisfying. It feels like a fresher, slightly better version of McDonald’s.
The only downside is the price—it’s a bit on the expensive side—but the meal was tasty and filling, so it felt worth it. I wish I had taken better pictures, but I was too busy enjoying the food to remember.

Such a clean Whataburger, Tracey took my order and everything was perfect and amazing, she was so sweet and quick to understand my requests being sweet with no rush. I went here on a whim and was pleasantly surprised and impressed how wonderful this location is.

First time to eat at this location off SPID & Ayers. The old Vick’s burger place when I was growing up in Corpus. There must have been 15 cars in the drive thru for lunch rush. The young lady who took my order was very pleasant and read back my order since it was kinda complicated.
The young lady at the window was also very friendly. She mentioned they had been busy for a couple of days since Christmas break.

MORNING CREW ROCKS!!! As I stood there waiting for my order the customers as they were leaving were calling the employees by their names and saying bye or telling them their meals were just like they ordered with smiles and just the gratitude the customers had for the food, services and employees. I ordered a Whataburger Jr on Texas Toast. After eating half of it I noticed half the meat was missing!! What the hell!! Whataburger employees you should be ashamed and embarrassed. This is totally unacceptable after all I’m not getting it for free. Imagine serving this to one of your family members.
