We always strive to serve locally caught seafood, organically grown local produce, and wines from local vineyards whenever possible. We also feature a full bar with specialty cocktails made with freshly squeezed fruit juices and a raw bar serving a variety of fresh oysters. We stopped by Lure Fish House in Camarillo before heading to the mall and it was a great experience overall. The service was excellent from start to finish and the food was really good. I am a big fan of oysters and theirs were incredibly fresh, which was definitely a highlight. The ceviche was a bit on the simple side but still enjoyable.
I recommend this spot if you are in the area or visiting the mall nearby. A solid choice for fresh seafood and friendly service.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lure Fish House in Camarillo, and I was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was bustling and lively, with a welcoming nautical theme that made the space feel both elegant and comfortable.
My order of the crispy fish sandwich and a house salad was an excellent choice. The sandwich was perfectly prepared—the fish was flaky and moist inside with a light, golden-brown crust that had just the right amount of crunch. It wasn’t at all greasy, which can often be the case with fried fish. The accompanying house salad was fresh and crisp, providing a perfect contrast to the rich sandwich.

What a pleasant surprise after shopping at the outlets. Great service, seafood was fresh and decor. Highly suggest the fish from the catch of the day selection. Rockfish was perfect and so was the linguine pasta. Will be back!

Everyone in my family enjoyed the fish, but for a fish house I have to say the steak was amazing. It was extremely tender and flavorful.
If you’re seated outside, it can get chilly around this time of year, but we were ok once the heater was turned on.
One point that should be addressed if possible is the bathroom setup. Although clean, the gaps between the sides of the door for the first stall do not provide the privacy you would expect from a bathroom making it uncomfortable for both people using the stall and people waiting for the bathroom.

Amber was great and the Fish Chowder was on point. I liked the spicy level. The charbroiled oysters were their own recipe. Honestly, I have New Orleans as the benchmark. Anywhere I go has an uphill battle. I look forward to trying other things on the menu. The ambiance was on point and the music was perfect.

What a fantastic time at Lure Fish House in Camarillo this evening. We were greeted by the friendly, kind and lovely Ana who seated us at a nice hightop near the bar. We then saw Ory the General Manager and chatted for a while. She is an amazing individual who lights up the place. Jalyn was our fantastic server who exudes kindness, professionalism and joy in her customer service. We started with drinks and charbroiled Oysters which were brought out by Bradley, another stellar individual with a fantastic service approach and demeanor. It is evident that the staff here all love what they do and the customers they serve. Jalyn took our entree order just after we enjoyed their fresh sourdough bread which is warm and scrumptious. My wife ordered three rockfish tacos and a side parmesean potato cake and I ordered the tequilla lime shrimp pasta. Both dishes were prepared and presented in a wonderful manner and delivered by this wonderful team of terrific individuals. Good times, great food and stellar service.

Had a fantastic lunch at Lure in Camarillo today. Carla was our amazing server and was efficient, professional and very kind. We started with bread, butter, charbroiled oysters and drinks. We also visited with Ory the amazing GM and she is an amazing person and so kind, professional and friendly. An awesome individual! We ordered entrees and my wife had the Sea Bass skewers with my side spinach and I had the king salmon with the potato cake. Everything was fantastic. The food, service, people and ambiance were excellent.

What a great dining experience today at Lure Fish House in Camarillo. We sat in the bar area and our server was Cassie and what an amazing person and top shelf attentive server. Cassie was assisted by Kimmy another wonderful person and quality server. We started with charbroiled oysters and drinks as well as their fresh baked bread. Yummy yummy. Cassie checked in regularly and then took our entree order. My wife had the Sea Bass skewers with an extra skewers and I had the halibut entree with sautéed spinach and a parmesean potato cake…yum. The food was served hot and tasty. The service, food and environment were stellar. We also asked to say hello to Oreana the GM but she was at the Westlake Village location today. Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful lunch at Lure in Camarillo today. Becca and Cassie were our servers and were stellar in their service. My wife had a non alcoholic mojito and I had an iced tea. We started with our favorite charbroiled oysters. For our entrees my wife had the Sea Bass skewers with a Caesar salad and I had the halibut with spinach and a potato cake. Great service, food and ambiance.

Had a wonderful lunch today at Lure. Ethan was our professional, kind and skilled server. We started with drinks and charbroiled oysters and of course their fresh baked bread. The ambiance was perfect and the food stellar. My wife had the Sea Bass skewers and I had the halibut with their potato cake and sautéed spinach. My wife had a mojito mocktail and I had a black iced tea. Phenomenal service, staff, food and ambiance. Highly recommended.

Well we went back today for lunch and we had Sandina as our server who was amazing. We ordered the charbroiled oysters and drinks with their delicious bread to start. Sandiina came back and took our order and my wife had the Salmon entree that I had yesterday and just loved it. I had the fish tacos and they were also fantastic. We are from Orange County and unfortunately don’t have a Lure restaurant nearby but are always hopeful.

We moved to Ventura county about 6 months ago and Lure has quickly become a staple. First requested restaurant when our family comes into town. We have had pretty much everything on their menu and it never disappoints. Consistently good food. One thing we really appreciate is their kids menu. Our 18 month old usually shares our food becuase kids menus always have the same old stuff but at least they have a small filet of fresh fish which our son absolutely loves. We always appreciate anything tha isn’t chicken tenders and Mac and cheese!! Also worth noting that all the staff is really great with our son! It’s nice to feel welcome when dining out with a toddler!

This was the first time we were at the Restaurant. I tried to make reservations and I was told they do not make reservations for a party less than 8 people. The Hostess appeard rather preoccupied and confused. I am a big guy and was seated in a booth that was too small for me, but I managed during the meal. James our server was attentive and very helpful. The food was excellent! I ordered the King Salmon which is sushi grade and I had it cooked medium well. That was perfect. I also had the pineapple coleslaw and the sweet potato fries. My date had the Mahi Mahi with pineapple coleslaw, and N.E. clam chowder. They had a TV on near the Bar area which I could see from my location. I reccomend anyone to this Restaurant.

First time dining here, and wow we were impressed. Our favorite was the daily catch black cod, clam chowder, and both the charbroiled and fresh oysters. The only dish we were ln’t fond of was the calamari. Other than that, everything was delish! The complimentary freshly baked bread was excellent as well.
Service was impeccable – from the hostess to the waiters. Interiors was nicely done, too. Ambiance is good for both family lunches and date nights.
