Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

When we arrived there was chaos. The establishment only had one cashier. While trying to place my order, the cashier was being distracted by the shift manager. Additionally there was a confusion where my meal was assigned to the same number as another customer.

Good burgers as always, glad to see management didn’t affect quality. The manager had less than welcoming attitude. Had smurk on face as she yelled at employees throughout the dining area. Gentleman at register was more interested in what employees were doing, talking about than customer attentiveness. Disappointed.

The workers are very hard working but a few times my fries were super cold and I went to get them refreshed and they were still cold… But I understood because it was very busy….. I think they may need a little more staff… I might apply because I like them alot and I could use a side job

When we pulled into the drive through an employee with her cigarette lit walked out and required two cars to back up out of the drive through so she could back into a customer space in her personal car resulting in traffic delays. We then waited more than 20 minutes for our order. They had incorrect/short change “I ain’t got no pennies”. Then they gave us an incorrect order and we had to review that adding additional time. Worst service I’ve ever had at a Whataburger. Terrible entrance and exit as well. Will not be back.

This place made me another person stand there and never acknowledged our presence. The manager didn’t say squat to us. She just kept wiping off trays. So I left when the other person did. I went to the other Whataburger on Stewart Rd. and 61st St. Was treated better, but the quality and style have gone down.

Staff were amazing and went out of the way to take care of us. They spent the time to compliment the kids and give them a good time. Treated them like humans. The food took an extra long time to come out and it’s not my favorite but the great service made up for it.

Well, if everything else is closed and this is your ONLY option, eat here. If you have a chance to eat ANYWHERE else, please do. This location is filled with flies first of all. Second, the LAZIEST employees on the planet. Literally had to argue with them to get them to take our order. Then when I went to use the restroom, found one of the employees locked in 1 of their 2 stalls, smoking marijuana. Not a vape, actual SMOKE. In the restroom. Of the restaurant. During business hours. To the point not only was the restroom fogged out, you could smell it immediately when you walk into the restaurant. The food took FOREVER and was mediocre. I was served old fries. They were not fresh nor were they salted. Did I mention the place was covered in flies?
