It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Best in the area. We have had poor food and service at Fry Rd, so we decided to drive over to Mason. Excellent, fast, hot and fresh. At Fry Rd, we waited 15 minutes to be served a cold burger. We’ll drive over to Mason from now on.

If you like Whataburger, this is one of the better stores. If you’re not from Texas, this is the Texas version of Five Guys or In & Out and many think it’s better than the other two ( which notably ate also available in bigger cities around Texas like in Houston, Dallas, etc..). This is one of the few stores that has 24 hour curbside service which for me is fantastic because my typical Whataburger visit is around 3am. Like most Whataburger stores, after midnight and before 4am, especially on weekends, you can expect a very long line at the drive thru, which is why 24 hour curbside is the best. They also have a fantastic concoction called Spicy Ketchup.

This is the CLEANEST location I’ve been to in a long time. Floors were immaculate. Service can be slow during lunch hour but that’s expected. Still the staff stopped by to check on customers. Food was hot and fresh. A+ from me.

Brandi working drive through has the worst service. Rushes you to place your order, doesn’t let you finish what you’re ordering before asking is that it. Then when asking for ketchup she counts how many meals you have and tells you to be reasonable. Ordering 3 meals and asking for 4 ketchups is reasonable. If you don’t have good customer service choose another job.
