Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Good burger but horrible malt. Just should have told us the shake machine was broken. Tasted like cleaning solution and watered down. One sip and it went out the window.

Good things and bad things about this place from my own personal experience. Atmosphere and food were classic Whataburger. Service I felt like I had to dock one star but really wish I could dock 1/2 a star. I first tried to go through the drive-thru. Although the signage says to use both drive-thrus, there was no one at the second drive-thru. The girl in front of me waited probably 5 minutes, got fed up, went around the corner and parked. After a couple of minutes, I did the same. Went inside to order (behind the girl who waited in front of me in the B line) and was greeted quickly. I had a coupon for a free Jr from the app. When it would not scan, the manager came over, and was extremely cordial. He had no idea why it was not scanning but he ended up just crediting me the Whataburger and told me to try it somewhere else another day. Awesome . He definitely didn’t have to do that, but probably could see I had the amp and I Whataburger account for years. This is the way to build a good reputation. Even if Chicago-owned, The flavor and customer service have not suffered.

This experience was not good due to it took 30+ minutes to get our order via drive thru. They seemed under staffed because the person taking cash payments at the window was making drinks and bringing orders to waiting cars at the same time. Our chicken sandwiches tasted like old grease or they had a weird taste to them and we did not eat them once home.

Customer service sucks…the last 3 times out of one thing or another….waited over 15 minutes to drive thru every single time.!!!! Used to great…last 2 months not good!!! What is happening??? Been going to this location 3 blocks from my house since they opened…

Experience was horrible. First we went in the line B and the person on speaker said ‘go on the other side’ then I placed my order and wanted to with my Apple Pay and AJ said that it was inside and if I wanted to pay that way I should of went to the other line. At this point he had already given me my drink so I just threw it out the window on the ground. Never have had this issue before but will not ever go again
