Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The service here was super slow and beyond forgetful. Tyler handed us our food about 20 minutes after ordering ⏳ and said, “I’ll be right back with the ketchup tray.” But as soon as someone came to the line, he put the tray back ♂️ and started helping them instead.
I went to the counter to get it myself, but both Tyler and another kid with dark curly hair completely ignored me. They saw me but didn’t even ask if I needed anything . Finally, an elderly woman in a Whataburger uniform ✨ and a yellow reflective vest came to my rescue and helped me get the ketchup I needed.
The whole experience felt like waiting for a bus in the desert—slow, frustrating, and confusing ️⏰. This location is now on my “never again” list . Do better!

They brought us our food quickly, and we had an option of fancy or spicy ketchup. Food was fresh and they got it right even with simple special requests which is not always the case in some places. Took a star down on atmosphere due to cleanliness of bathroom as well as some food and a table number on the floor. Would overall recommend as these are easy to fix and generally the place was clean appearing. We would eat here again if in the area. We had two adult meals and two kids meals.

Whataburger never disappoints. The burgers are always hot, fresh, and made to order. I love how customizable everything is — whether it’s adding jalapeños, swapping sauces, or going for the honey butter chicken biscuit during breakfast (a must-try!).
The staff is friendly, service is fast, and the quality is consistently great, even late at night. Definitely one of my go-to spots for a satisfying meal. Texas comfort food at its best!
