Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

5 stars for this soda and ice machine. It’s clean and it’s not 8 foot ice machine tower that’s nasty since employees can’t even clean if they wanted.
Ice is nice chunks, not “crushed” which is a scam in my opinion.

I’d never been here before. I wasn’t sure of the size of burgers. I explained to the cashier that I’ve had bariatric surgery & can’t eat a large meal. She then recommended the junior burger meal. I ordered that with onion rings. I have to say that it was quite tasty for a fast food meal. I was pleasantly surprised. 10/10 for the service & 8/10 for the meal. It is fast food so don’t expect a steakhouse burger. It certainly beats McDonald’s.

I was in town visiting my mom, and was super excited to find out that Whataburger had opened. I had not been to one in quite a while. I love their burgers, I think they do a phenomenal job on them. We ordered two different burgers, fries, and drinks. The food tasted really good, it was super hot, super fresh. Complaints that I had, were minimal one of them. The fries could’ve used some more salt. But we had some in the car, so no big deal. The other one was my burger was wrong, they left off the toppings. Now I know I wanted everything I ordered, but I really can’t complain because the burger tasted great. So that’s why I marked the service down a little bit was due to the fact that the order was wrong. Another thing that I really didn’t care for, was, they had to drive through lines, but they were only using one, and they were making people pull up to wait for their food. It seem like a very new store and should’ve been staffed accordingly. I will definitely try it again when I come back into town, and if it’s changed, I’ll update my review.

Being a Texan living in Arkansas, it was exciting to have a Whataburger open in Searcy, and we took advantage of our first opportunity to indulge in a Whataburger burger.
Service at the register was outstanding, and it was reassuring to see employees actively working to keep the interior clean.
The burger was good, but the fries were disappointing. Although the fries were hot, they still managed to be a bit stale and slightly bitter. Perhaps the cooking oil is due for a change?
They were not overly rushed as it was around 2 p.m., and the kitchen staff did not seem to be motivated to complete the order. It took overly long to fill our order. In fact, the group of 3 who ordered 10 min after we did received their order, their larger order, before we received our order of 3 burgers and 1 med fry.
If only the kitchen were as efficient and effective as the wait staff
