Ordered a group meal for pickup off Doordash. Arrived right at my scheduled time, and my order was ready and bagged for me to leave. In fact, this was one of the best and most professional takeout packaging jobs I have seen – they wrote each person’s name on each part of their order, super helpful!! Included little packets with salt/pepper/napkin/utensils. The included BBQ sauce with each meal is a small container, so if you are like most people and like saucy, definitely ask for another. Side items were tasty and reasonable size. Unfortunately did NOT receive Texas Toast but instead some kind of flavorless lump of dense sponge like material (was it a roll?), they definitely need to upgrade that to real Texas Toast/ Buttermilk Biscuit. We also paid $6 for the tiniest little piece of pecan pie we have ever seen, so we wouldn’t recommend that one.
That said, the BBQ was a reasonable nice portion and tasted GREAT, which is the whole reason you are coming here. We were all thrilled with our meat selections. The restaurant was nice and clean and stylish and would be a great place to eat-in too. Yes, BBQ is expensive, but it is expensive EVERYWHERE so either deal with it or stick to Taco Bell and Subway.
Overall, we were very pleased and definitely will be back. Happy to have these guys in the Dena.

Secondly, the food was on point. I’ve lived in Texas, Louisiana, Tennessee and N.C. And this BBQ can hang with the best of em.
Sauce selection has all the favorites. Even a MD nod and has Old Bay on the tables.
I love Mission BBQ but I won’t be going there because this place is right around the corner and just as good. I will be a regular

Been here twice and both times the customer service was outstanding. They a friendly, even in a busy situation. The food is also great. Had the brisket, friend okra (which is a very generous portion) and the mac n cheese. Will continue to visit and next time sure to have a brew.

This food was gross. My bbq pulled pork sandwich was laying in the bag not even in the wrapper. Also zero bbq sauce on my sandwich or in the bag. The fries were undercooked and soggy or burnt to a crisp. The ribs maybe a 5/10. The coke is nasty too.

Staff was nice, The Brisket and Pulled Pork wasn’t great… it was bland… only thing that was good was the Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage which they literally give you a couple slices… Potato Casserole was literally Mashed Potatoes with some bacon on top, no cheese or anything. Coleslaw thank god was horrible, but it is just Coleslaw.

What a disappointment my first visit was. We’ve all been longing for more restaurants in the Lake Shore area and I had high hopes. Sadly they were hopes and this isn’t the answer. I got the Giant potato and while it was large, the brisket was room temperature and had no flavor at all…No comparison to Mission BBQ. The potato itself wasn’t even room temperature, it couldn’t even melt the super thin cheese. The potato could have used more baking as parts were a little too hard. It doesn’t come close to comparing to the “Plain Jane” at Jason’s Deli – one of my favorite baked potatoes.

I ordered the #7, 3 rib combo with the potato casserole. Talk about comfort for the side, and fall off the bone moist and tender chunky ribs. I tried 3 out of the 4 of these outstanding sauces (Carolina, Original, and Sweet).
And a side of pecan pie.
This is as home as it gets here. And all I had to do was order, sit down, eat, enjoy, and wash my hands. Versus making this all myself. Which I can and have done thousands of times.
A must try! Come check it out.

We were greeted on arrival, staff was helpful and friendly. Restaurant atmosphere was cool, nicely put together place and it also has a full bar which is an added pleasure ! Food was great, it was our first time so the girl behind the counter recommended the 3 meat plate which also came with 2 sides & a bread. We tried the brisket, the pulled pork & the ribs. Flavors were great on all 3 options. Mac and cheese and green beans were also good! Overall great experience. We will definitely be back.

We went there last week- the brisket was so very very good. My husband also loved his meal (sausage). Good portions- big drinks! (Bonus take home cups!!) the sauces were yummy and the service was great! Staff is super friendly and accommodating welcome to the dena!
We noticed there is a bar in house there too! So next time we dine in— we will sit at the bar
Went again on 2/22/23- again same amazing food, atmosphere and service. The loaded baker (baked potato) is one of my husbands favorites! My daughter went for the chocolate chunk cookie and loved every bite! The also have a brownie which was also great! Finally tried the fried Okra and — I haven’t had okra in awhile and it definitely hit the mark! We will be back again!
