Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The employees are pleasant each time I come and my food is fresh just my goodness the wait in INSANE. You know we wait patiently at America favorite chicken spot but this wait beats them by a long shot. I’ve been in drive thru for 30 minutes there was only 3 cars in front of me. No one came to the speaker to take my order so that’s added time. It’s sucks

Worst place I’ve eaten in a long time. Waited 25 minutes for my food which was dining in and the burger was in a to go bag cold and the fries were in a to go bag separately. My work partner had already finished his meal before I got mine. Several people that came in after us already got their meals before us. Ice machine was broken, no napkins whatsoever. I guess it was the uniforms we were wearing. Blue lives obviously don’t matter. The employee that was supposed to be bringing our food just dropped my bag on the table and didn’t apologize for the wait and didn’t say anything about my fries. I walked up to the counter and she dropped a bag of fries in front of me. I asked for my money back. Not going to be stopping by here anymore. Service is terrible

My food was good, but we walked in and got our food in 10 mins while everyone else was still waiting up to an hour while someone was on their phone at the register ignoring customers. This location is horrible!

I attempted to go thru the drive thru to order but the employee was being extremely difficult, she was slow and wanted me to repeat my order over and over…… I dont know if she was new or just didn’t care. I went in to order and this young lady was on point. The grill staff and lane crew took 20 mins to make 6 burgers and 3 orders of fries. The burgers were extremely salty and tasted very average. I will try a different location of Whataburger but I was impressed.

When we arrived there was no one on front counter and waited about 7 minutes to get our order taken and when it was our turn, we were told they couldn’t take cash. There were people in line waiting as well and none of the employees acknowledged us. Our order taker kept getting our order incorrect when they repeated it. We got milkshakes with our food and the employee said that they’d bring it out to us since we were dining in, but I ended up having to go to the side window and ask one of the employees to make them. We waited 30 minutes for our food to come out and when it did, it came in a bag when we told our order taker that it was dine in(several times) and the receipt even said dine in. The dining room/lobby was dirty and the tables weren’t clean. My family has always enjoyed eating Whataburger since we’re from Corpus Christi, but I’m disappointed on how it’s gone downhill at least at this location. My family and I won’t be returning to this location.

Employee working drive-through was rude and unprofessional. Asked us to wait 20 minutes because they were backed up, no problem, we wait 30 before speaking up to ask if everything was okay. They got rude and said we could leave if we wanted. We waited another 10 minutes before deciding to leave, at which point someone comes over the speaker laughing and asking if we’re ready.

Good food, good service, but they rarely have milkshakes due to machine being down most of the time or out of mix. Shakes are great, when they can make them. This has been going on for a long time.

Doesn’t seem to matter what time of the day I go by they always seem to mess up the small details of my order (condiments, toppings, extra sauces I pay extra for) and it always seems like no staff member ever knows how to use their own whataburger phone app to pay for a meal. Why offer the service within the app if you aren’t going to train the cashier on how to accept the payment. I forgot my purse at a friend’s once and waited 30 min stuck in the car line only to be told they didn’t know how to accept the payment and they refused to give me the food so I had to leave with nothing, yet had $45 that the manager could see as my available balance within the app but didn’t know how to get it from the phone to the register.

I have visited many times and have had good experiences but this one was horrible. Ordered on the app and picked up in store. Employees didn’t speak to me for 13 minutes, waited for my food another 10 minutes, got home and my order was completely wrong.
