Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Best fast food experience I’ve had in a very long time. Burgers are huge compared to the competitors these days. Service was excellent. The store was clean. The employees seemed like they were genuinely happy to help the customers. I’d give this location more stars if the scale was bigger.

Don’t know if they are short staff or unorganized or just lazy but the drive through is consistently backed up and slow. They are nice and food is good just takes forever . At least 20 minutes or so. Don’t eat here. The food is normal good burgers. The employees are rude. On our visit there was a group of 5 employees and some of their friends taking up 3 tables. They were disturbingly loud and foul mouthed. One of our burgers ordered with no onions, had onions on it. When presented to the same cashier that took out order, she blamed us and said you didn’t ask for no onions. ITS ON THE RECEIPT you printed. The young man that brought the replacement burger was very nice. We had eaten here probably 10 times in the past 2 years with no issues.

Burger was delicious and fresh. Fries honestly could have been a bit better. It seems that they may not have had the oil quite the right temperature to achieve the perfect level of crispness, and they weren’t salted adequately.

Just a bunch of kids running the store. They acted like kids and talked like kids but the service was super fast and the food came out real quick. Food was good. Banana shake was good. Would eat here a lot if I lived here.

Absolutely the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. Paid for my food, then I was told they needed more monet for an order that has already been paid for. How do I feel like the employees, including the manager, are trying to hustle people. Just wrong. Pay attention. Don’t let them try this on you, too. Wrong! Hopefully, someone sees this and takes corrective action. Definitely won’t be coming back, especially after the employees and manager are arguing with me. What happened to customers is always right? Absolutely disgusted. STAY AWAY!!!

Absolutely terrible service, forgot about our order multiple times. After getting out order and leaving on our road trip, all of our food was wrong. The spicy chicken sandwich was burnt to a crisp, the chicken was dry, and my buns were burnt. Management was nowhere to be seen as the kitchen staff seemed to be losing control, I will add that it wasn’t very busy. I recommend heading up a mile to the McDonald’s if your in a hurry as this was not “fast food”

Food was amazing. Hot, fresh, fries were salted perfectly. It hit the spot after sitting in that drive thru forever and a day. The service was ridiculously slow. I don’t know how y’all do it around there if that was a normal lunch rush but dang y’all. We were in line for like over 45 minutes and the thing is you can’t even pull out of the drive thru to say forget the wait! You might want to consider fixing that. I’m giving one star because my moms sugar was getting low and y’all’s service was so dang slow I had to walk out, walk to the gas station next door and get her something to eat while waiting on her food to eat in the drive thru. Get it together or fix that parking lot please.
