Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Brandon runs a good crew. Service is fast, employees keep it clean, tables are wiped down as soon as a customer leave and the atmosphere is friendly. My food was cooked well. The price was reasonable. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would come back again. Thank you for your attentiveness, Brandon and crew!

I got the barbecue chicken strip sandwich, and onion rings. Everything is burnt. There is nothing that isn’t unburnt. They didn’t use nearly enough barbecue sauce. You can’t even taste it. All you can taste is basically deep fried chicken with almost no flavor. I definitely won’t be going back. Seems like it’s gone downhill since it got bought out.

I went to this Whataburger recently, and it was a really good experience. The food came out hot and fresh, and the burger tasted like it was made right when I ordered it. The fries were crispy, and everything looked and tasted great. The employees were friendly and respectful, and they got my order ready pretty quickly even though it was a little busy. The place was also clean, which made it more comfortable to eat there. Overall, this Whataburger had great food and service, and I’d definitely come back.

Disappointing. The onion rings were badly burnt and tasted like they were fried in old, dirty oil. Definitely not fresh or enjoyable.

Whataburger is a southern US fast food chain founded in 1950. It’s hands down the best fast food burger in Texas! These are not pre-made burgers, so you can build your burger the way you like. The picture shows a Whataburger Jr. The regular hamburger is much larger than pictured. Every trip I take home to Dallas I always make sure I get my Whataburger. Each franchise can vary depending on location. Clean, welcoming atmosphere. Great menu. Highly recommend you add a Whataburger to your “bucket list”!

Mostly clean restaurant with fresh beef hamburgers prepared the way you want it. Their pattie melt is a true gut bomb with two patties, cheese, and toasted bread – is filling to say the least, probably a 1 and done… I suggest the classic Whataburger with cheese, it remimds me of similar hamburgers from a competing chain that also starts with a ‘W’ and endys with, er… anyways, nothing super special even with the double bacon cheeseburger, a knock off of Carl’s western burger. Size of burgers are decent, bigger than the 2 really big name competitors and better, but also more expensive so its no wonder whataburger is never super slammed like the place down the road that is nevwr quick to get in and out of. Worth checking out, but don’t go out of your way.
