I went through the door amd walked towards the counter. At least four young men stood there near the French fry area all facing each other and talking. At least three of them made eye contact with me multiple times. It was so weird that they didn’t at least tell me they would be right with me. I stood there for a problem about 2 minutes before an elderly woman walked forward and took my order. While she was very kind She didn’t know what I was talking about when I asked for the dollar soft drink. One of the men that we’re standing in the group came over and showed her where it was on the screen. He appeared to be the manager since he had a different color shirt than all the other employees. I got me large chili and fountain drink and went to a booth. The restaurant appeared clean but very outdated with tears in many of the seat cushions.
My food was delicious and hot. I absolutly love eating at a restaurant that has the newer type of soda machines with dozens and dozens of options.
The restroom was also clean, but very outdated. As i observed the group of employees further, they all seemed to be moving slowly and possibly high. It’s was very odd to say the least but I would eat here again since the food was so fresh and delish!
Dwayne was our cashier. He was so sweet and he made our night. He had no idea what we were going through but thanks to him, we went home in a much better mood.
We usually have good experiences here compared to other Wendy’s locations but Sunday night was the best.
strange but true. Thanks Wendy’s for making me think a bit too much about lettuce. Oh well.
We waited at the front for a while until we were helped (no line in front of us) and no greeting from anyone. Then we ordered 2 sandwiches and they came out faster than we could get our drinks, which seems like a good thing. But no… when we sat down to open our bags no less than a minute from getting them, our fries and burgers were room temp, at best. AND they weren’t even the sandwiches we ordered. So, someone just gave us old food that was sitting right there.
But it gets worse. We brought our sandwiches up to be fixed and although they got the right order the second time, our sandwiches were literally refrigerator temperature. The cheese not melted. Buns ice cold. Patties like deli meat temps. THEY WERE COLDER THE SECOND GO AROUND.
At that point we just left. Obviously the workers wanted to make a point, “don’t ask for warm food, we’ll make it colder”
I know fast food is not a grade A experience but that was the worst.
