Best Walmart experience I’ve ever had in my 62years. I spent a month in Lawrence from Wichita and shopped in there a minimum of 10times. Every time service was exceptional. Employees more than willing to go out of their way for you. Clean store, well stocked. It’s actually a pleasant experience to shop there unlike ANY of the Walmart stores in Wichita unfortunately

Had an issue with a terminal double charging my bank account. Came back here first to see if they could resolve it before I contacted my bank (which would probably take hours). Kandice and Jeanne at customer service were SO HELPFUL and patient while they helped resolve this unique scenario. I am super grateful that Kandice stayed persistent with waiting on the customer service hotline and was eventually able to get my refund. They went above and beyond with the service and Walmart should be proud of these exemplary employees!

There was a lady who worked in the self checkout that was supposed to be helping me scan some sliver forks that I had difficulty scanning. I had already scanned my silver spoons that I had by the time she was trying to help. She seen me scan my spoons and place them in a bag at the self checkout. She then goes to help me scan the forks and then she places them directly on the metal counter instead of the bag that I placed the spoons in. At the time I was disgusted because she set them on the bare counter. I also have not seen them wipe down the counters since 2020. It grossed me out. I vocalized my disgust and the lady proceeded to tell me that I could always wash it off. This statement didn’t set well with me because it felt dismissive and inconsiderate. I went to replace my forks with a new set and when I got back, the lady disappeared. I found it even more rude of her to not apologize and then just disappear from the self checkout area. After I scanned my items I went into the customer service area and asked for a supervisor. I then proceeded to talk to someone at customer service and I requested to speak to the supervisor. I noticed at the time that a walmart worker was conveniently at the same check out place that I was and they were eavesdropping on our conversation. They made an attempt to intercept me and my conversation with the customer service representative by asking what I needed. Even though they clearly heard me asking for a supervisor. So, I then repeated that I needed to speak to a supervisor. She then asks me if there was anything that she could do to help. I asked her if she was a supervisor. She replied no. I responded by saying that I specifically asked for a supervisor so talking to you would be redundant. After a supervisor showed up she was the customer service team lead lady, she was very understanding when I stated my concerns about germs and grossness of the situation. I explained in full detail about what transpired. She kept profusely apologizing about my experience and then she handed me a gift card for my troubles. The team leader stated that she will talk to the lady (that was dismissive and rude) about her the situation and about her conduct.

Today in the self checkout, an associate named Sherry took it upon herself to come and touch my four year old child’s hair. He told her “don’t touch my hair” and she responded with “my bad, I just think curly hair is so cute!” while trying to touch it again, before my husband interfered and reiterated what my child said, don’t touch his hair. She THEN decided to reach into our cart and grab at our 2 month old daughter’s car seat, trying to pull the visor back. My husband stopped her again, telling her to not touch our daughter. Just disgusted by this interaction.

I have been calling since 8am trying to get ahold of someone , so when I get here I get to customer service, two ladies in office in front of a phone that has been ringing .. I ask them what I need and was redirected to garden , I get to garden and the guys says he cannot help me and he cannot leave his area and idk why the customer service would tell you to come here .. so I walk back to customer service and I think the manager still in same seat on her phone is asking her as she still on her personal phone and remain CD all as she remains texting on her phone .. so finally she gets up and says I’ll go back and get a roller .. thank you I said , but the redirecting and basically not wanting to do your job is unacceptable. .

Very unprofessional old lady’s at the self check out very very rude and disrespectful.then charged me twice for some toys when I told her I already scanned that toy.I want my money back.very poor customer service in the check out line accept the lady at register 14 she was super nice even tho she asked me if I wanted to pay for a happy face sticker for 25 cents .

It’s Wal-Mart. Always check the clearance section for good deals. They tend of have some food flavors or items that the other Wal-Mart doesnt.
