Was really impressed with the ambiance of the restaurant. So cozy and intimate yet, really beautiful interior and a patio like sitting on a sidewalk in Paris.

Vivante has always been a wonderful spot to share a meal with my wife. The atmosphere is very relaxing with wonderful classic music. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating around all of the allergies and odd requests we have. The food is superbly enjoyable and I think quite reasonably priced. I would recommend this spot to anyone.

We had the best early breakfast this morning – both the food and service were of high quality. They even have flavored creamer for your coffee + freshly squeezed OJ! Thanks for making our morning/experience extra special, Cassidy R.!

The service was excellent, and the atmosphere is very nice. The food was disappointing. I expected the French onion soup at a French restaurant to be the best I’ve had, and it was far from it. It wasn’t bad, but I’ve had better at several other places around Indianapolis. The broccoli and cheese quiche was pretty good, and certainly the tallest quiche I’ve ever had. So I was very happy with the quantity. But again, it just wasn’t great. The lemon blueberry crepes were okay. Very light on the lemon until you got to the dead center.

Vivante has recently (as of 7/23) changed their menu. We had a variety of appetizers for dinner. The crab cakes were very good, as was the pressed watermelon. The baked brie was amazing. We gave some feedback to the manager, and the sous chef came out to talk with us – they seemed genuinely interested. Service was good and the welcome was fantastic. They found out it was our anniversary and went above and beyond to celebrate us. We will definitely return.

Rock Star is an understatement for our server, Serena! We were in town for a family wedding. 4 of our group was already enjoying the fabulous Champagne Brunch when 5 more of us decided to join in. The Manager, whose name I unfortunately can’t remember & Serena pulled tables together and got us all settled in while smiling and making us feel just as important as every one else while still waiting on other tables and clientele. Serena remembered our names as well! Then, the four who had played golf came in to sit a a booth. Again, they welcomed them and did not make us feel like we were imposing in any way. ( I know this is a server’s nightmare!) Serena engaged in cheerful conversations with us while being efficient and professional.

We enjoy Vivante very much for the service, cuisine, and atmosphere. Cassidy especially provided exceptional service, both when we ran in with 20 minutes and two hungry kids before a show, and once for a long birthday lunch – both great. Highly recommend for breakfast, lunch, dinner or even just a cheese plate on the patio with a glass of wine.

This is a good restaurant. The piano being played in the hotel lobby can be heard downstairs as well adding to the ambience.

The only reason why we’re giving this wonderful restaurant 5 stars is because 6 stars wasn’t an option. Miss Raven’s service was legendary. Miss Jerica was an excellent hostess. Dylan made us such creative blackberry crème margaritas. Zach made us the most delicious vegan chickpea curry pumpkin squash soup (quite possibly the best soup I’ve ever had). I loved my coq au vin . My husband’s canard aux bleuets was out of this world, and our desserts stole the show. We shared a tarte aux fruits crème brûlée and a dark chocolate vanilla crème soufflée. Even my French press café and his thé aux oranges were perfect. All in all, this anniversary dinner was even better than our Thanksgiving dinner in Paris . And did I mention that we are both language teachers and accomplished chefs?
