I wasn’t entirely blown away by this meal, but that’s not to say it’s not a good stop. The chicken, as others have mentioned, is great both in how it’s cooked and how it’s seasoned. I wish I got more than 1/4. I enjoyed the canary beans which the left over juices were good for dipping yuca into. They lost me a bit on the plantains, half of my serving was a bit soggy and the other half was very firm. The quinoa avocado salad was good, but the avocado itself was a bit firm to me.

I have always loved the food here! Well sourced, healthy choices, and best of all, delicious! Yesterday, I ordered a catering lunch for a group of 17, and got excellent service and food throughout. The catering department was incredibly helpful. Our lunch group said it was the best catered meal we’ve had yet! (and we’ve had a lot!) Make sure you get plantains, everybody loves them! Thank you!

This was our first visit and the food was amazing. The cashier was helpful and recommended great choices. Everything tasted fresh and had tons of delicious flavors. We definitely would come back and try all they have to offer. The food was quick to arrive at the table shortly after ordering. The only issue I had was the restaurant was incredibly hot inside, so I was pouring sweat while eating. I’m also 8 months pregnant so I run hot always, but my husband also commented on how warm it was inside. However, the heat will not be a deterrent for us to return for more Peruvian foods.

Dined in for the first time and they did not disappoint! The atmosphere is very laid back. The service is friendly. The food was so flavorful and delicious. The temperature of the food could have been a little warmer. My fav items here are the plantains & the yuca fries. The chicken is top notch!

I had seen the sign out front showing the yummy tacos a week previous. When a friend wanted to go eat I suggested Viva Chicken. I did get the two tacos shown on the sign board and they were amazing. The added plus for me was finding out you could get plantains as a side. The slaw they make for the tacos is wonderful too. Fantastic food and I can’t wait to go back❣️

I did a door dash after working all day, ready to enjoy my Tacu Bowl with my 2 sides of Amarillo sauce…only to be totally let down by there being no sauces. The bowl will not be the same w/o it. It’s not the fault of DD, as they just receive the bag from the store. I’m extremely frustrated, since I specifically asked for TWO if the sauce type. Called and spoke to Dontay and all he could offer was for me to drive up to the store, unfortunately the whole reason I did DD was to not have to drive myself. It’s a no win situation but I still felt that you should be aware. It’s an expensive meal to then be disappointed…

The chicken here is always so moist and flavorful. I stick with all white meat 1/4 chicken and it’s always good. The sweet potato fries and plantains are always excellent as well. I usually take out or have food delivered, so I’ve never cared too much about the decor or layout. It is nice that they have a patio area that can be enclosed for the colder months.
