I had a pick up order that wasn’t quite ready when I arrived, although I did arrive over the time it expected it to be ready. They were out of to go silverware due to a delivery delay. When I arrived, what I believe to be the manager, explained right away what was going. She apologized and let me know she had someone grabbing silverware from the store. While I was waiting she was extremely kind and personable. Things happen out of no fault to the restaurant/staff. Having such a nice staff really makes a difference when things do happen.

The first time we went to village inn we loved it, went around 10am for breakfast. This 2nd time we went was around 12:40 & it was horrible completely opposite from what we experienced the first time. Hasbrowns were cold and burnt and extra crispy, my chicken fried steak was cold and dry, pancakes were cold and very hard around the ends. Seems like they were out for a long period of time & thy had just threw then in the microwave to warm up a bit. Ham was also dry. The food seemed so old.

You know, it’s corporate, but the staff and the food here are really, really good. Separately, of course. I’m normally a mom and pop type supporter, but as far as corporations go, this particular VI is top notch and I’d recommend to anyone looking for great American comfort foods. Love it, love it all!

I went it last Saturday for a a coconut cream pie, unfortunately in that moment they were out. The manager (young man) Xavier went out of his way to prepare one for me. I only waited 10 minutes, so I highly appreciate it.

Commenred to the Host and my friend on how Very clean the restraunt was as we were being seated. It was sparkling clean, ALL OVER! The service was great, the food was very good and came just as ordered. I would drive out of my way to return here just because of this! Kudos to exceptional management and staff! Way over priced for the amount of food you get. Hash browns were way over cooked almost burnt. Pancakes were as tough as leather. Eggs were even not cooked to order I ordered over easy and they were cooked hard. Bacon was hardly cooked at all. Will not be going back there. My recommendation go to Royal Cafe in Sun City.

We got to this establishment 1 hr before it closed. We were a party of 8. Server was not to happy and got a couple of things on our order wrong because she was rushing. I’ve never been a fan of Village Inn and this pretty much confirmed that I will not be visiting again. When you’re spending your money I’d like a fake smile and fake nice than to get sighs and eye rolling.
