My favorite brunch spot in Fremont! Delicious food and great service in this newly remodeled restaurant. The strawberry crepe, cheesecake crepe, and cheesy hash browns are my favorite items! The açaí bowl is also delicious. Adequate prices, but to save money I just buy sides:)

First visit since the renovation. Service was solid and attentive. Food was pretty good. We had a spread from soup, pancakes, chicken fried steak, burgers and salads. We were all happy with our choices. Enjoyable experience.

Lindsay B was an awesome server. Friendly, full of smiles, timely, just great. With so many restaurants having lousy service now a days, it is very refreshing to have great service. The food was very good as well. I had the eggs Benedict. One star short for atmosphere, because it was quite cold. Bring in a jacket or sweater and you will be fine. I highly recommend this Village Inn.

I sending this review to management to let them know how wonderful my server Pamela was. She was so upbeat and helpful. She was so unhappy that I had jalapenos on my burrito, (yes, it was on the receipt NO Jalapenos) you had to smile at her reaction. She was VERY patient with my elderly parents. I left with a smile. Also, shout out to Lynette (hope that is her name) who found my phone in the bathroom. Yes, I gave her a hug because I was so grateful. Outstanding employees.

This village inn has always done the best service no matter what above and beyond. They take their time making the food even when busy they do their best to serve food timely. Today was one of those days even though we ordered online for delivery and the dasher CANCELLED it besucase the workers stated a five to ten maximum wait, Village Inn assisted us with getting our order. We ended up picking the food up ourselves thanks Cole and the female manager on duty today! Sorry about the Dasher but we appreciate you. 🙂

The food is normally a hit or miss. One day, it’s really great, but on another day, the same dish will be burnt or have an off taste.

Tonight I had one of the best Cobb salad, excellent side of corn and a memorable slice of triple berry pie. Excellent corn? Yes! This corn was roasted on the cob seasoned with a little bit of garlic and presented as you can see below. Some of the best corn I have ever eaten. It was fresh, sweet, and corny. The Cobb salad was made with farm fresh ingredients; a far cry from the Cobb salads offered in the big cities. If you look at the picture you’ll see one chicken breast; What makes these chicken breasts different is that they were roasted on one side. That’s a gourmet technique. I didn’t ask if the triple berry pie was baked in the house, but it was richly flavored. I had the pie heated which is why it slumped. I like to play with my food and took small bites of the pie to see if I could tell the difference between the boysenberries, raspberries and the blueberries. To my astonishment I could tell when I breathed. By the way, my compliments to my focused and charming Server (Sydni) whose insightful suggestions made this meal all the more memorable. It’s my favorite place to eat at in Fremont! I love how they have deals every Mon to Thursday. The bonus was when I told the waitress that it was my father-in-law’s 80th birthday and he was given a free slice of cake! It really made his day better and he LOVES their apple pie.

Staff was very pleasant and nice. Restaurant was clean. I ordered roast beef with green beans and a breakfast skillet with bacon and sausage. However, I always recreate my meals with extra so I added roast beef on top of my breakfast skillet to top it off and oh boy! oh boy! it was so tender and yummy.

Based on visits to other Village Inn locations, we were very disappointed by this establishment. The service was not good, waiting nearly an hour after being seated before our food was served. The quality of the food was sub-par at best, not very flavorful, loose interpretations of what we’ve enjoyed elsewhere. The waitress offered no explanations of or apologies for the delay, only visiting our table to take our order and deliver the food. We never got the check, having to pay directly at the counter instead. No intentions for a return visit, ever.
