This place was excellent. My boyfriend and I were visiting from out of town and I have severe life-threatening food allergies. It is always hard for me to eat out, especially on trips where I don’t know any of the local food places. The ladies here were amazing with my food allergies, allowing me to read the ingredients to everything on the menu (for cross contamination purposes) and were very patient with me. The food was absolutely amazing; the woman cooking the food really knows her stuff! We loved the atmosphere, the food, the customer service, and everything about the entire experience. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Pigeon Forge.

We found this place by mistake and so glad we did! It’s now our place for lunch everytime we visit. The burgers were made fresh, and oh the banana split. Where can you get a freshly made burger, fries and drink for under 10 bucks!

On our way down from the Smoky Mountain State Park, we happened across an antique mall along the highway. Of course we went in sort— you sort of have to. Antique mall along the highway in Tennessee, a must stop and see. Anyways, we didn’t get any antiques. They just weren’t our cup of tea but we were hungry. Inside this antique mall is a quaint little burger joint. Whereas the outside says Bob’s 1950’s Diner, it is in the process of being renamed “1950’s Diner.” It is under new ownership and the entrepreneur is 19. He was great to talk to and made the food himself. He laughed that we called pop, well pop. And we laughed that he called it soda. Great conversation, great food and a good little pit stop for a boo around a really big antique mall. Lots of nooks and crannies to hunt around.
We like to meet new and interesting businesses’ along our journey’s so if you know of one, or are one then drop us a line at our website under our own name. You got it- Doug and Shannon with the dot the com. We would love to hear from you.
Cheers,
Doug and Shannon

We walked in and the waitress was very rude. We asked if we could sit in a section that had a table big enough for 4…she said no and rolled her eyes. Then we pulled a chair from that area and moved it to the table she said we could sit at. Then she said, “Menus on the wall!”…again with that “pleasant” attitude. We got up and left!

I can’t tell you how the food is because we didn’t get to eat here. My family of three walked in and were greeted by the antique store staff, but when we walked back to the diner, the waitress never even looked at us. It was full because the extra seating area was blocked off. We seriously stood there for about three or four minutes and were not even acknowledged. It looked like it would have been a cool place to eat

Thought this was going to be a Great place to eat. Then we went inside. The employee just looked at us like ( Great more customers for me to deal with. ) we stood there and she looked at us and rolled her eyes. Don’t think we will be back. Very Rude and unprofessional Waitress. We won’t be back.
