Villa Pizza

  3.5 – 24 reviews  $ • Pizza restaurant

Villa Italian Kitchen was founded with one store, one family, and one concept in 1964 when our founder, Michele “Michael” Scotto brought his authentic old-world recipes from Naples, Italy to New York City. Michele’s commitment to hospitality, quality ingredients (like homemade dough, 100% whole milk mozzarella and fresh sauce), and the strict loyalty to his now famous recipes, built the business. From that first Villa Pizza that opened in 1964, next to the CBS/Ed Sullivan Theater on Broadway, to nearly 300 Villa Italian Kitchen restaurants later, our commitment to quality and genuine hospitality remains the basis of our foundation.

Counter-serve pizza chain with traditional pies & slices, plus pasta & other Italian staples.

Any store bought pizza is better than what they serve. Meatballs are sponge like. Sauce is watered down. Stay away unless you have time to waste and a stomach you don’t care for. Like any consumer I asked for a refund but the manager told me that I had taken a bite from my pizza and meatball. How else can you taste food I have no idea. Unprofessional staff.

Service was fine (but probably b/c no one was there at lunch rush, take from that what you will). The pizza was not warmed up, over-sauced, and old. The salad was a pile of brown romaine spines. Pretty bad food.

The lady was rude. She got my salad wrong twice then After asking 3 times for the lasagna, gave it to the next person. I stepped over to my son to answer a question leaving my tray with my sister and the rude lady threw my tray and food away. Will never go while she is there again.

Truly awful. I hate writing reviews like this, but the service was HORRIBLE and the food was cold and flavorless. One person on the team didn’t speak a lick of English and barely spoke Spanish. She had not idea what was happening and had to wait for others to show her. Will not be going back until both problems are solved.

Excellent service, food was hot and ready and the girl who worked there was extremely nice despite the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season

Great New York style pizza. Dough and sauce made in house daily. Stromboli was amazing!

My kid got pizza here, said it was delicious. I think it was a little high priced.
