Villa Italian Kitchen was founded with one store, one family, and one concept in 1964 when our founder, Michele “Michael” Scotto brought his authentic old-world recipes from Naples, Italy to New York City. Michele’s commitment to hospitality, quality ingredients (like homemade dough, 100% whole milk mozzarella and fresh sauce), and the strict loyalty to his now famous recipes, built the business. Since our first Villa Pizza next to the CBS/Ed Sullivan Theater on Broadway, our commitment to quality and genuine hospitality remains the basis of our foundation.

Terrible experience. Staff was unprofessional and not friendly. I asked for mushrooms to be added to a pre made slice of cheese pizza. Not unusual or uncommon. I’ve done it several times. Even if the rules changed and they could no longer perform the service, they not only denied me without explanation, but then proceeded to snicker and point at me to each other and to ignore me and tend to other clients. When I asked for the manager they said they didn’t have one. No one was in charge. No one owned the establishment. I’m usually quite spirited in such a situation but I remained calm and collected for this one due to the nature of society these days. It’s just a fast food place in the mall. Basic expectations. But no one should be treated poorly regardless.

Very unprofessional staff. My husband approached and asked for a slice of pizza, but all 4 workers completely ignored him and kept talking. He had to ask 3 times before they decided to stop talking and serve him.
