I’m new to Greensburg and have never had Lees Chicken so I stopped in before the kids get out of school. I wanted to try the restaurant before I brought in my big family that are from out of state. When I arrived the elderly woman at the register was super nice. Her and a seated gentleman (I believe is the owner or Manager) both were beyond nice and they made recommendations to me. I ordered the fish for dine in and went and had a seat. When the older woman brought me my food it was in a to go box in a bag, which isn’t a big deal at all! She apologized to me for the mix up but was positive and said “well, this makes it more convenient if u wanna take any left overs”. I loved her kind positive spirit!! Once I opened up my fish meal I realized there wasn’t any tarter sauce, so I walked up and waited for the nice cashier to be done handing a to go order of fish to another customer. Before she turned to me to see what I needed the man with the fish order asked the cashier for extra tarter sauce and the cashier asked the older woman cook for some tarter sauce and the cook yelled “ITS IN THE BOX” so the nice cashier nicely said he wants extra. So the cook scoffed and threw it up on the window. I was scared to ask for tarter and I felt bad for the cashier!!!! I said “I’m so sorry!!! But I also need tarter” the cashier was kind and said “no worries honey” and then asked the hateful woman in the window for a container of tarter and the cook had the most hateful look on her face and AGAIN yelled “IT’S IN THE BOX” and stared at the cashier like she was BIG MAD! I felt like a deer in headlights because I GOT THE CASHIER STARED DOWN AND YELLED AT for asking for tarter sauce for my almost $15 meal I loudly said to the cashier “YEAH HOW DARE YOU ASK FOR TARTER SAUCE FOR A CUSTOMER!! I’m not bringing my family to eat here because I want them to see the beautiful side of Greensburg not the tarter sauce police who must have the cost of tarter sauce deducted from her paycheck. She MUST be a miserable woman to tear down the welcoming atmosphere the two WONDERFUL workers created for me

The tartar police name was not Lisa The older lady that yelled the tartar sauce is in the box. Was Becky know your names and your facts before you run your mouth Becky is not a rude lady. She just sounds that way you made it look and sound more dramatic than it was.

I am the woman that left the most recent review about the tarter sauce police. As I was leaving I asked who the man was that was sitting at the table by the counter and found out he was the owner, which means he heard Lisa being hateful. I sure wish he would have stepped in for the tarter sauce fiasco but he didn’t. So heres to hoping he gave LISA permission to give customers tarter sauce and to stop trying to be HATEFUL to elderly people.

After the Crazy windstorm yesterday we lost Electricity and still out of power so we drove too this Greensburg location from Larue Co just for their Wonderful Spicy Chicken and Gizzards…Its well worth the 20 minute drive…Thanks to all the workers working and the Linemen out working hard too get power restored. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

Love their chicken. Stopped for a quick lunch. Used the drive-thru and got great service. The chicken tenders and potato wedges were delicious. The biscuit was baked just right and melted in my mouth. I have been to several Lee’s in different areas of Central Kentucky and this one several times due to the closeness to my relatives in the area. I never ever had a bad meal at this location. The employees are nice and always glad to see you.

Great livers but customer service was poor. Bought one meat and one side item.
Then noticed that a whole meal was the same price. Wanted to switch. Cashier wouldn’t do it. Really? Gave us mild chicken instead of spicy. Told us it was probably just not hot enough for you. Really? I’ve ate a many Lees. Someone dropped the ball.
Place looked good after a recent remodel.
What needs a remodel is customer service.

We went there tonight and 2 meals were the exact same thing. 5 piece tender, Mac n cheese and mash potatoes. They charged me $0.35 more on one meal and said it was because Mac n cheese is a premium side. Well both should have been the same price. Will not be going back there. Also the chicken in the 3 mixed meal was either burnt or not cooked. Not very happy with this location any more

It is ABOUT TIME I found a Lee’s that is as good as I remember it being when I was growing up!!! Excellent, fresh, chicken. Great sides, and the service was outstanding. I will definitely be back next time I’m through here…
