Typical HK style cafe, food quality was good, great location, located in a shopping mall with Ranch 99, Paris Baguette etc. Lots of other food options in this mall, has another franchise brand in San Francisco, tried both Venus Cafe with similar food quality, here in San Jose branch might have fewer options, may not be the best authentic taste but they get the job done very well, between $17-20 per order which is pretty normal price range for this type of quality and location, parking lot is a bit compact with high traffic especially you have ranch 99, expected to be a bit hard to find a parking space, lots of electric cars parking spaces, overall was a pleasant food experience.

If you’re craving lai fun or Cantonese cafe/comfort food in general, this place is great! Reasonably priced and the food was just so satisfying, it came out hot and fresh. I got the 牛腩lai fun and my partner got the salt and pepper wings. Would highly recommend both!! We’re definitely going to come back 🙂

Came around close to 7pm. Wasn’t too busy and was promptly seated and was provided with tea. Menu was viewed via QR code and orders were placed easily.

The service is pretty bad. This is our first time to come here, we spent some time to know what to order and want to get some simple intro. the woman waitress yelled at us and threatened us that if we don’t order right away then she will go away. Others after us already have waitress to serve and give simple intro, but she totally didn’t listen to us even we tried to order. She kept repeating “ You are not ready, right?” and wanted to go, ignored that I was going to say. I didn’t feel respected and doubted if any bias caused her so mean. We left after all these sufferings.

Lunch options are a bit expensive (just under $20 w/o tax), but rest assured it’s totally worth it for the quality. Seafood udon on a sizzling plate is very delicious, and the curry pork chop was made so tender and succulent I couldn’t get enough of it!

A few remaining good HK style cafe. Lots of different dishes to choose from. Opens late,(after 2022, so many restaurants closes early.) Friendly services. Gets busy at times, but what more could you ask for. Great food, fast service, and reasonable price! Love the curry fish balls with radish appetizer. Sizzling fried beef spaghetti, Big brother mixed chops if you are hungry!

One of the few HK style cafes in the area, this place serves up some tasty nostalgic hk food. They make really good baked pork chop dishes. If you’re hungry, go with the Big Brother. This time I got the special with the 3 sauces baked pork chop ( black pepper, tomato, and cream white sauce) that comes with a drink. Their hk milk tea is pretty legit too. I definitely recommend it! They have a special going on right now for lobster with e-noodle ( braised type of noodle that’s been previously fried). Really delicious and good price! I will definitely order it again!

I ordered the fish filet with white sauce over fried rice. It was alright, but not quite what I was looking for. The rest of my party ordered various noodle in soup dishes and enjoyed them, so I’d recommend that. Finally, the servers were very nice, so kudos! Very much a Cantonese-style, family-oriented restaurant.
