Went for a burrito, insanely skimpy portions, hot ingredients not hot, and the guy couldn’t even wrap the burrito properly, at a place whose whole business is burritos you thing they’d train the employees how to do it, it’s not rocket science. Go to chipotle, bubakoos, or pancheros if you don’t want to waste your money. Another example of restaurants cutting corners at the cost of quality, while charging for “premium” ingredients.

The employee that I spoke to mentioned another restaurant with similar type of food saying that they’re chain most. Does it better. I asked him why and he says because they take more time to prepare the ingredients that go into their final product. You don’t see that too often nowadays, especially at at the fast food/chain establishment. The young man should be commended. Seems as though he has a good workout ethic. Probably it’s not already seeking to advance his employment or career.

Hoping this was just an off night. Went there with my son and there was only one employee there at the time with a pretty decent line. Server was good considering but food has fallen off taste wise and size wise. Adobo chicken was bland, brown rice looked aweful and they were missing items at 630? Im sure ill give it a chance again but hope its different considering they have 2 competitors right down the road.

Apparently filling 8 door dash orders is more important than the customers who were standing at the counter for 10 minutes waiting. Usually go here once a week but not anymore. No wonder this place never has any customers inside

Walked in at 9pm (I know they close at 10)

You guys should just close at 9 if you have no food left. No sour cream, no chips, no salsa, dude who served me looked like he didn’t shower in 3 weeks.

Puts the rest of the lettuce they had on the burrito and it was all wilted and brown and slimy. You could literally get sick from that. That is food safety concern. I ended up walking out. Definitely will never go back. Management should be ashamed.

Really contemplating reaching out to the department of health. That place should be CLOSED

My wife and I went to Moe’s for the first time in…years. We used to go to the one in New Haven a couple times a week. We were on a first name basis with the two sisters who owned it, that’s how much we went there.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

We had stopped going to Moe’s a few years ago, and I frankly don’t remember why. So I suggested it for lunch today (8/18/25). It will be a long, long, cold day in the firey netherregions before we ever set foot in another Moe’s.

First, we walk in…and the floor is sticky. That should have been the first clue to just…walk away. Second, there were just two people working…at lunchtime. And only two guys in front of us in an otherwise empty restaurant.

The real kicker…the pinto beans were not done. They were crunchy. And not even uniformly crunchy. Some were crunchier than others. The guac was insipidly bland and watery. The queso was still good, but some of the chips were actually partially uncooked, some were just grease-filled sponges, and none of them had any salt on them. Oh, and yeah, the Coke machine that is supposed to have a gazillion flavors in it had…exactly 9 flavors, none of them diet. Not 9 different brands, 9 different flavors total. And of the one I had, it tasted like someone increased the dilution to make it stretch farther.

Please, if you need a Mexican fix, go to either #Tacos on Main St or any of the other muy authentica tacquerias within a 5 minute drive.

It’s ok. I prefer this over Taco Bell because the food looks and tastes fresher. But it seems they are always training someone new, they no longer do the “welcome to Moe’s” greeting on a regular basis, and the proportions are inconsistent. Table and benches are not kept clean but employees are congrugated behind the serving counter chatting between customers.

We used to LOVE Moe’s! They totally went downhill. First; the employee seemed bothered even though there weren’t any other customers. Then the lettuce was completely wilted. The chicken was cold, the queso was like water, the chips were stale and it was just so disappointing. They used to be sooo good! My salad was inedible. I don’t foresee this restaurant being here much longer. I should have gone to Chipotle ☹️

Doesn’t matter if you order in the store or delivery, there will be issues. You want sauce with your chips (which they ask you for online orders and show on receipts)? Not gettin it. You ordered more than 1 item? Not gettin the rest.
The customer service isn’t always bad, and not saying that this happens all the time, but there will be times that are so bad with employees that it far outweighs the good customer service.

The photo I’ve added is from an order that I’m missing 2 other meals entirely and all the salsas, but the item itself is barely filled! It’s basically mostly empty tortilla.
