Ordered lamb chop w/o the house sauce, my lamb chops were raw and inedible. Ordered blackberry margarita & was served jalapeño (asked if it was available prior to ordering). My server apologized citing they were extremely busy and that’s why my order was completely wrong. I’ve been a really good customer for several months and was very disappointed even disgusted at the poor service. The chef may not like customers requesting their food w/o sauces and/or cooked to specifications different than the restaurants menu. Exceptional restaurants respects a customer’s choice and anticipates the possibility that their cultural preferences may dictate their palate. Additionally, the customer pays (an expensive price$$) for want they’ve elected to eat. Having traveled and experienced some of the best restaurants I hope my post elicits positive changes that are customer driven & respects diversity.

Took my wife here for her birthday and the ambience and service was incredible. She tried quail for the first time and had difficulty figuring out how to get the meat off the bones so I swapped her plates. We didn’t mention anything to the restaurant because they didn’t do anything wrong, but the manager noticed that we swapped plates and gave us one of our entrees for free. Then he didn’t even mention he had done this. We got the bill and I noticed something was missing so I talked to him and he stated he did it to make sure that we had a good experience. Very impressed with the good character and care of the people there. They definitely made a loyal customer in my wife and I.

The assistant manager was our waiter. I was dressed professionally, but he still treated the wife and I as second rate compared to how the writers treated other patrons. He was rude and short when he talked to us. Sometimes, he just didn’t answer. He never followed up after delivering the meal. He returned after I had completed the meal to of the water. He left without asking us for to-go boxes or to bring the check. He did not return. I had to ask another writer to bring the check. The assistant manager came back to clear the table but still did not bring the check. The cashier finally brought us the check.

Got seated right away, however it took about 15 minutes for our server to even come over to take our drink order. Once she did come over and took our order it was slow to come out. Overall service throughout dinner was slow and felt like we were a burden being there. We spent over $200 there for two people. The pasta was plain, bread was tough, the steak was over cooked. The tiramisu was delicious though. I will not be returning to this place.

First time here, and it was wonderful. The cocktails were perfect. We had the crab cake and chef specials, four jumbo scallops with seafood pasta, and halibut. They were cooked perfectly and so delicious! For dessert, we enjoyed the tiramisu with Irish coffees. We left very full and happy, we will be back.
