It’s hard to go wrong on State St with its numerous restaurants and shops, so this one fits in perfectly. Super comfy downstairs and extra cozy layout upstairs, with a stylish decor. We enjoyed a rehearsal dinner on the second floor which had a wide array of appetizers and sweets. The space was perfect for mingling and light conversations. Worth a visit.

Apparently the steak house isn’t open anymore. We made reservations for here but were sat next to the bar in 86 west. Our romantic night was loud and mediocre. No steak for 2 or seafood tower anymore. I ordered a Margarita and I got a pint Glass of something w tequila in it. Still not sure what it was. If I had known we would have went somewhere else. Steak came out beyond well done when ordered med rare. It was beyond loud. It would be great for a night out w the girls but not a romantic dinner for 2.

10/19/2021 Our event held at this stunningly beautiful venue was sheer perfection! The filet was one of the best I ever had and this was the general consensus from everyone whom ordered the filet. The salmon was fresh and grilled perfectly as my husband and other guest remarked how delicious the food was. Our waitress Veronica then served our guest chocolate torte cake and cheesecake which is made from scratch as the bartender owns Sweet, Chic and Savory desserts. This is mow my favorite place to have private events and I hesitated because I know once the word gets out it will be everyone’s favorite! All I can say is WOW! One last thing the interior design is so beautiful that I took a photo of the company name so I could hire them!

Always wanted to try it out since it opened this past summer. Food was a little salty (risotto cake special, crab cake, mushroom shumai):

Glad that they closed. Ate there 3 years ago and it was awful and overpriced. I don’t mind spending $125 for a good steak dinner, but I would like McDonald’s more. They were nothing like Peter Luger, Sparks or Smith and Wolensky. Fifteen minutes away is KC steak house in Warrington which is as close as you can find like a New York place. It really amazes me since I eat at 86 West so often and never had a bad experience

We were visiting town (Mercer Museum) and didn’t have reservations, found the place last minute using Google Maps, showed-up, and they seemed reluctant but gave us a great table. It became clear really quickly that the place was getting busier than expected. While they weren’t able to get to our table as quickly as we would have liked, they were clearly working hard to keep up with the sudden rush. I have to say everything we ordered was superb. The cocktails were great. I had the Panko Scallops, which I really want more of right now. My dinner guest had the Rack of Lamb, which I got to share in a bit and were very good. This place has it together, even under pressure. I’m very impressed.

Don’t waste your money on this place. Raspberry margarita was undrinkable. Tasted like sour pink lemonade at best. The NY Strip, ordered medium rare, was so tough, I couldn’t chew it. Yes, service was good, but can’t make up for the lack of quality preparation. No wonder the place next door is always packed and this place is empty, despite being owned by the same person.

Ate there twice, both times disappointing. Ordered a rib eye steak, baked potato everything on it, Caesar salad, and a drink. The Caesar salad was terrible. It was Romain lettuce with squeezed lemon on it. The croutons were good. It was as far away from a Caesar salad as you could imagine. The owner should walk over to Nats Pizza and try their Caesar salad.

This is not a 4 or 5 star steakhouse. It is a shame, you are paying $42 for the location and not the quality of the food. I ordered a rare steak and received a medium cooked steak. Which was understandable since it was very thin. Don’t get me wrong the is good, it just does not warrant the prices. You can get a better steak at Outback. We have been here 3 times and each time the quality has been lower than the first.

We made reservations through Open Table – and even though it hadn’t synced with the system, they honored our reservation anyway. We sat upstairs, it has a unique designer urban chic vibe that makes you wonder why more restaurants aren’t so cool. Our server, Craig, was super friendly and professional. We got the fried lobster, Ahi tuna, house steak and short rib. The portions were not gigantic, but it was good to have eaten everything and not feel like a zeppelin blimp. The drinks were excellent and the flour-less chocolate torte was the best dessert we ever had. I’d been here before for drinks and our bartender Christian was the best – friendly, attentive and perfect drinks. Overall, being kind of new to Doylestown, I must say, this is my favorite bar hands down. A few Easter Eggs for you to discover, no need to rush the service, sit back and enjoy.
