If you follow my reviews, you know I’m picky & on point with my picks. If you find yourself in the Smoky Mountains region that includes N. Carolina, this place is a “Go”. It boasts some of my favorite characteristics. It tasted like the food was made with love to. Quality ingredients. Classic Italian dishes mixed with a few surprises. And a pizza whose crust you could eat on its own. I have no idea how the Italian owner made his way to the Mountains, but you’ll be glad he did

My Husband and I love this place we will probably never go to another Italian restaurant very kind staff and owner. Best wine also , from Italy we have been twice already. And I hope to go this weekend my Birthday is May 28 th and this place is my choice.

Wow! Just wow! The pizza was amazing the garlic knots were out of this world. The owner came and checked on us 3 different times. He said that he over cooked the knots and by no means were they. You can tell the sauce is home made and the dough as well. Cannot recommend this place enough. Found our new Italian spot!

Nice place. Crust was good. But, I have never, ever, had pizza where they just throw toppings on and assume it’s good to go. I ordered 2 pieces and a water came out to $11 or so, not including tip.

Ate here for the first time today. The staff is super friendly and the restaurant is nice and clean. We had ordered the Margherita pizza and it was good. It wasn’t prepared how I get it elsewhere. It was missing garlic and fresh basil. The spaghetti and meatballs is delicious. The sauce is so good and the meatballs are sliced. A friend of ours ordered the cheese ravioli and enjoyed it. The food overall is really good. We were shocked at how much the bill was, a bit pricey.

Stopped by here on the way home from Cherokee. From the second we walked in we knew it was going to be a great meal. Friendly acknowledgment from the staff right away, the place was super clean and the food on the plates of guests as we walked to our table made my mouth drool.

My experience with Vale 243 was unique. I was a Food Lion customer next door at 10pm on a Friday night. There at the end of a register sat a ginormous pizza. The staff told me that the owner of Vale 243 regularly brings over pizza for the staff…free of charge. It is rare to see that kind of hospitality and it speaks to the character of the owner. The Food Lion staff paid it forward and offered me a slice. It was delicious. I can’t wait to try the full experience. Keep up the good work!

His Alfredo sauce wasn’t broken at all, his ravioli was amazing, his pizza was perfection, and his cheesecake is to die for. My uncle was a gourmet chef and I am a total foodie—this man is not just a chef, he is an artist. On top of all that, the server was completely sweet and the restaurant was spotless. I would highly recommend a million times over!
