Good taste I say good enough and one time try for sure and prices are reasonable.

This is relatively new restaurant in Bay Area. They serve pure veg maharashtriyan Indian food. By definition it is supposed to be spicy and I was glad they maintained that authenticity in taste. But my rating is low because it felt like a less professional business. Several menu items were not available and they didn’t have any bread on a regular weekday lunch time. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all. I expected more from this place. The ambience is low key and pricing is not exorbitant but not cheap either.

After alot research, we found a perfect place to enjoy Mumbai Vadapav/ paav bhaji. The taste was exquisite. Surprisingly, I got a poori that tasted exactly like a Chole batura and it tasted so nice. Please note that this is a popular eatery in town for the quicksnacks. There were no options for heavy meal or Thali. The restaurant has ample dining space and it was less Crowded during our visit. The prices are well balanced and service was really good.

Ordered Pav bhaji. Taste was okay. Served with onion and lemon. Also tried Bharaili vangi. I didn’t like the taste. It was a bit sweet. Couldn’t get Bhakari on weekday. And Masala Tea wait time was 30 mins. Maybe because it was late lunch. They might have closed the kitchen.

first experience eating vada pav (so take my review with a grain of salt) but was super delicious! came with some coworkers who said vadapav is their favorite food since childhood and had to come here to try some. we ordered vada pav, masala fries, and the paneer tikka frankie. the vadapav was super delicious, great amount of spices and delicious chutneys. masala fries were also very solid (not many ways in which you can go wrong with them). the frankie was a bit lacking especially in comparison to the other two dishes; felt like it could have used more seasoning/sauce. overall, quick service, great chutneys (esp. the tamarind one). would definitely come again!

Found this restaurant while looking for warm sandwiches on maps. Drove down here for a weekend lunch. We had the mumbai sandwich, mumbai aloo frankie, aamras, vadapav. The food was served within 10 minutes.

A very homely casual snack/lunch place in downtown Mountain View. I read somewhere the owner cooks a lot of the dishes. Everything is fresh and vegetarian.

It’s a nice place to try great wada paavs. Wadas are on spicier side but overall taste fresh and delicious. They also have other Maharashtrian food items such as Kothimbir vadi and Kokum sarbat. Kothimbir vadi isn’t really available at most of the places, so it was a pleasant surprise. It’s not as good as homemade, it’s rather in the form of dense squares that gets little oily. The tiny yogurt dip that comes with it was rather yogurt water, we had to request for real yogurt, that we got. Kokam sarbat was another surprising item, however it was too salty. They might need to reduce the salt quantity or offer salt separately based on customers’ taste. I still give them high stars because of 2 reasons. 1. Customer service is great. Gentleman on the counter named “Alex” was really kind and polite to us. We sat in the restaurant for hours and he made sure we had everything we need. 2. Irrespective of small hiccups, food is delicious. Be it kadahi paneer and thetcha or their signature wada paav. This place is at walking distance from Castro street (Mountain View downtown). This place is located in a complex and has ample designated parking.

I had ordered for take out for Indian festival Ganesh Chaturthi and the food was freshly prepared, very tasty and felt like homemade. Specially Modak and plain shrikhand was very delicious and tasty. We had pre ordered puran poli as well and they were sold out in the morning which I felt that they should have had handled better as even after pre ordering we couldn’t get it. Instead we had to order something else and ordered sabudana vada and masala fries which were fresh and good. Their Aam panna is also.worth trying.

I was unimpressed with the flavors. The paneer sandwich had way too much tumeric. The Bombay sandwich was alright but there’s better options around for this. Ras Malai was decent.
