Social Profile:

Uno Mas opened in December of 2016 with the idea that you shouldn’t have to drive to Portland to find great beer and bright, vibrant food and drinks with ingredients made in-house, from scratch. Whether it’s the pico scooped up with hot chips fried from fresh-cut tortillas, or the tonic used in our original cocktails, that from-scratch philosophy informs everything we place on our menu, and at your table. Whether you’re heading back from a day on the mountain, or just passing through, take a taco timeout and give us a try. Next time we might be your first stop.

Pretty good. We find it very expensive, especially with drinks. For the price they should at least give you chips and salsa to start. With the number of people mentioning the price….might be time to listen.

We’ve visited Uno Mas twice now, and experienced great food and service both times! Portions are generous, great flavor, and love the outside dining space. Don’t miss it — such a great stop here in Farmington!

This is not a Mexican restaurant and as long as you go in not expecting it to be a Mexican restaurant you’re fine. It’s Mexican style. Don’t expect a frozen margarita they don’t have a blender. And in case they read this, traditionally the cabbage is put on the top of the taco so that the taco shell doesn’t disintegrate with moisture. They were tasty, but oh so messy. Our waitress was really fantastic.

We’ve been here twice. Both times the food was very expensive and not very good. Last time I ordered to go, none of my requests for alteration were honored (“not spicy” “no cheese”) and we were sent home with cold and obviously old food we didn’t even order, as well as the food we did order. The quesadilla came with salsa even though we ordered it plain with chicken and cheese only, and it was cold. The “street tacos” were cold and had salsa on them, again, we ordered them plain with chicken and cheese only. I don’t mind the extra food as long as it’s edible, but when the food we ordered AND the extra food were cold and improperly prepared, and it cost $70 for three small entrees, no drinks, I think we’re done giving them a chance unfortunately.

Uno Mas -one more, which was the feeling with everything we ate there. From Margaritas to Baja fish tacos (fried fresh haddock with pineapple salsa). The service is genuine, warm, and accommodating. Being from California and loving Mexican food, Uno Mas did not disappoint. The experience leaves you with the thought of going back again-uno mas.

This was my third visit to Uno Mas, and this time my companion and I both had the quesadillas with portobello mushrooms. The perfect amount of heat for two gringos who like spicy food but don’t want to cry–kept thinking I was going to add hot pepper sauce, then another mouthful would dissuade me. Generous piles of sour cream and salsa to stuff inside, really delicious. On-tap cranberry hard seltzer was surprisingly delicious. On. My second visit I had a skewer of seasoned pineapple I recommend, just no room for it this time. Love dining on the screened-in porch of what used to be the Granary, overlooking the Narrow Gauge Cinema; the inside is as bland and undecorated as ever, and the small room by the entrance is dark and dreary. Go on a sunny early evening in summer and revel in the food, the quiet, the sky.

Very hospitable and the smell of fresh citrus was great in the air. Had one of the most unique beers I’ve ever had as well as some other local brews. Food was good just wish there was more bang for the buck. Tacos could use a little more sauce/fat.

Absolutely amazing experience. The chips are homemade fresh cut, ingredients tasted fresh and of high quality. Food was presented nicely and in a timely fashion. Great beer and drink selections. All at fair prices. Thumbs up.
