First off the food is delicious. That’s number one. I had the oxtail cheese steak, and yes it’s good. Very filling. I couldn’t even finish it all. The establishment was clean and the service was professional and friendly. I saw the owner of the establishment behind the grill cooking the cheese steaks with all the other cooks. I’m not sure why that was something I liked to see… but it was. Only thing I’m not a fan of is standing in the long line because everyone is running here to buy their delicious food. I have yet to try anything else on their menu aside from the cheesesteaks but I look forward to it.

We drove an hour just to try her salmon and oxtail cheese steaks based on JL Jupiter’s reviews of the establishment . The owner accommodated us since we drove so far. We had to wait 45 mins due to orders being in high demand. However we paid $50 for two cheesesteaks which did not come with fries or drinks. She did not wear gloves when she prepared our food, ( I watched her from the window). Overall the food was okay, I’m a serious foodie so when I give a review it’s my honest opinion.

My fiancé and I decided to give this place a try after watching a YouTube video. She had her eye on the salmon cheesesteak and I was interested in the oxtail cheesesteak. However, upon placing our order, the staff informed us that their menu options were limited for the day. They only had oxtail cheesesteaks and fries available, so we opted for those. Unfortunately, there seemed to be some confusion regarding orders and the prices were inconsistent based on who was ordering. For instance, one person might be charged $30 for an oxtail cheesesteak, while another might have to pay $32 plus tax.

First day in Philly came here to try the oxtail cheesesteak. It was delicious! Juicy and flavorful. You can smell oxtail when walking in the store. Cash only was wak but there’s an atm across the street. Oxtails ain’t cheap so the sandwich is $30. Staff was friendly.

The Oxtail Cheesesteak was expensive ($35) but definitely worth the trip to North Philly. Service was a bit slow and I was caught offguard about the “Cash Only” but I would go back and eat another oxtail cheesesteak or try something else on the menu.

I’ve been eating here twice sometimes three times a week since their opening in 2018 and the staff is always welcoming and in great spirits. I’ve had pretty much everything on the menu three times and the food has been astounding since day 1. It seems as if it improves each time. 10/10 would recommend to anyone seeking great food with not so long wait times in the Philadelphia area.

Tried the place for the first time a few months back during Black Restaurant week and it was pretty good. I ordered the Salmon Cheesesteak, Sweet Potato Fries and a Strawberry Lemonade. I really liked the fact they used real salmon filets – they had a clear glass so I could see them cooking stuff when I came to pick up my food. The food was very filling but wasn’t greasy or anything like that.
