One of Twin Oaks menu items that they are well known for is their battered French Fries. People travel for miles to get their fries and sometimes load them up with cheese and BBQ. The staff is very friendly and one that comes to mind when you mention Twin Oaks BBQ is Mrs. Linda. She has been serving Brunswick and the Golden Isles at Twin Oaks for the past 49 years and has watched generations of families grow up and enjoy one of Brunswick’s most treasured staples! I was impressed from my first step inside. Amazing staff that are welcoming and “eat their own food” as I was walking in, this is always a good sign!! I had to try the Brunswick stew for obvious reasons, and it was full of everything, including flavor. The fries were special almost felt like a potato that was cooked and then breaded and deep fried again..I ordered 3 meats (sorry no brisket), but I didn’t even miss it their meats were that good. The Ribs were the clear winner as I’d put them up against any BBQ restaurants I’ve reviewed, easily a top 2!! The chicken was juicy and full of smoke flavor, the pork wasn’t third best I just couldn’t list them both at the same time… Such fresh smoky tenderness I was left fighting myself on which bite to take next.

Twin Oaks BBQ is one of the local favorites! Good BBQ for the area, although the ribs were a lil tough and saltier than I’d like. Generous portions for the price. There is plenty of indoor seating. Fried green tomatoes were top as well as the chipped pork.

When the waitress said “generous portion” she wasn’t kidding. The bbq plate was an entire plate for $9.99. I ate pork for days! It was great and the fried green tomatoes were so good!

Haven’t been in a while. Battered fries are great, BBQ sauce is good, we went late in the day – towards close, we will have to try again earlier to when they open, the BBQ was really good, just seemed like it would probably have been even better earlier to when they open. We will definitely be back for lunch again.
