They always have great freshly marinated meats, appetizers, desserts, and snacks (fr sh made chex mix, breads, etc.) for you to purchase for at-home cooking. They also have an AMAZING selection of prepared foods, both hot and cold, for purchase to get at as is. I get their fried chicken and sides, A LOT! Highly recommend the deli at Kirby Foods!

I walked in with my husband and we wanted to grab a few items on way home, as we were walking through, the Queen Bees, gave us a dirty look as if I’m Not supposed to go grocery shopping in their store, I used to work in the deli last year, at old location. I quit my job due to personal issues with the deli manager and team. My Family must eat, so we went there, nothing looked appealing, way over rated prices on the deli. Not impressed with the set up of cold case, nor the Deli manager and her crew, that has worked for her for many many years.. You Just Don’t Treat Customers the way they did, as they seen my husband and I. They should have had more buissness respect for me, as a good paying customer. Keep their personal opinions and thoughts to themselves.. it was kinda embarrassing, they all acted like teenagers in High school , gossiping about another person. You would think at their older age and with being a employee of a respected establishment for 20 plus years, that they could fake a smile and asked me as a customer, if I needed some help,..as for the rest of Kirbys IGA.. everyone was very busy, very friendly, and helpful to my Grocery Needs,. Employees need to be having meetings with top managers and other employees, to be taught, how to deal with customers of all ranges..you have to be able to have respect and mindfulness of the customers, after all, the customer’s are the ones who keep your doors open, by shopping at your store,of course I could have just walked out with no groceries and drove 30 miles out of my way to get better prices on basically the same food, and been treated a lot better, sorry for my rant, bit isn’t this why we do Google Reviews ?? So that buissnesses can do better at their jobs, to fit the customers needs ?? I just speak my truth, probably won’t go back unless it’s a dyer need, ill pay the extra 10.00 in gas and travel where I feel more comfortable and ill get cheaper prices.
