If there was a 0 star that is what I would give. Do not understand the hype about this place. Maybe things have changed since owner is getting out of it & turned over to kids to run. Did takeout (dining room closed on a Saturday night) for mostocolli & and order of garlic bread. Pasta was gummy, meat sauce had a burnt taste & garlic bread a soggy mess with no crunch whatsoever. First & last time there!

Great place for a sandwich. Located next door to Janesville Craig HS. We grabbed a garlic legacy, the legacy on garlic bread. It was pretty rich so I think I will try a legacy next time…and there will be a next time. They had lots of options, including a meatball sub. The restaurant has plenty of seating, including a “banquet room”. The staff was friendly and hardworking.

I’m giving this 3 stars because we have usually had a decent experience. Today, one of the handful of times we didn’t, is alarming to me.
I called to order a carry out order. It was very specific. The young girl I could tell had zero idea what she was doing just from the phone interaction. She kept asking “Anything else?” after every single items, even after I told her I had multiple more. She never asked for a name or number. I had to ask how long and how much? She said 15 minutes hesitantly and she didn’t know the price, I’d find out at the window.
I get to the window a little early and the young girl had no idea who I was, what order we had, etc. I rattled it off and eventually she found our order. She read it to me and at the end I made sure the sandwiches had exactly the right things taken off of them. She was hesitant but agreed with me. We paid and pulled forward. It took 30 minutes, not 15.
When the two girls came out with our food, I prayed it was correct. But we get to the other side of town and nope! We asked for two full veggie gondolas, no pickles on one. Lo and behold, there were pickles even though I was read the order back with No Pickles! And the other full veggie gondola was supposed to have no tomatoes, no onion and no pickles. And this one still had tomatoes. I do have pictures of the sandwiches, here is one. We placed our order at 11:20 this morning for reference to go back and check our ticket. It’s supposed to be a 3 pastas, a loaf and a half of garlic bread, and three sandwiches.
Please either train or hire more competent people. This isn’t the first time this has happened and we don’t have time to backtrack as our time was limited seeing family from out of town today.
It was useless even talking to these girls there, they had zero clue what to do.
Also, the is no reason why a veggie sandwich should cost more than one with meat. $7 rise in price is a little extreme.

Worst Italian food I have eaten ever. It was 45 dollars for 1 chicken Parmasan dinner and just the chicken Parmasan (not the dinner.) The chicken was like frozen Tyson chicken and the sauce tasted like it came from a can. I couldn’t even eat it. Neither could my mom. Never going back.

We had my best friends baby shower there. The banquet room was beautiful, The food was brought out before everyone got there and looked beautiful. Lots to choose from! And many desserts! The salad was delicious! We had lots of room to decorate the room for the baby shower. The waitresses came to make sure everything was well stocked and looked nice during the event. All around it was a great experience and they were very helpful! Will definitely be back!
