Holy guacamole, this place is the best Mexican restaurant we’ve eaten in Iowa as of yet. If you haven’t tried this cute hole-in-the-wall, then you have one more reason the visit Mt. Pleasant. The food tastes authentic, including the lemon cucumber “agua”, fresh red and green salsas, and the tastiest beans (resembles a soup with pork flavors). Service was great and food came out very quickly.

Ashamed that I waited two years to try this place. I’ve always been disappointed with the food truck services in town. Now I know where to go for authentic Mexican food. The steak Carne asadas were delicious. So full of flavor that it’s all I could think about for the next couple of days. I can’t wait to go back. Beef tacos were good too. Highly recommend. Looking forward to trying everything on their menu.

These are the best authentic tacos you can get in Mount Pleasant! The tres tacos combo with steak and mild sauce is my go to everytime with a fruit punch jarritos to drink! The chips and salsa are a 10/10 their Itos dessert is also a 10/10!

Delicious! We had street tacos, our choice of meat, and had to try Al Pastor. Family recipe of pork shoulder, marinated in a mix of spices, pineapple juice and vinegar giving it a sweet and savory flavor. Their beans and rice are delicious and unique. A must try. Fresh fried chips and homemade salsa were super. Can’t wait to come back. Very friendly couple and I wish them the best.
