We got totally lucky that the TOTALLY AWESOME VEGAN FOOD TRUCK was set up right down the street from our hotel during our vacation. We came here twice for breakfast. The food is amazing. This is seriously such a neat food truck. I wish we took photos of the actual food but we were drooling and dove right into eating it the second we got it. In a city that isnt SUPER vegan friendly, this food truck is spreading the vegan vibes & love <3

My family and I were on a bike ride when we happened to stumble onto this food truck, and boy were we lucky! I have severe allergies to dairy and egg and I didn’t have to worry about them at all here. It was amazingly easy to get food that tasted great and was 100% safe for me to eat (no concerns about cross contamination either!). I got the cinnamon bun and my mom got the fries with what I refer to as “fakin bacon” and mayonnaise. I was blown away by it all. My dad even gave the cinnamon bun the “tastes just like!” stamp of approval. And the fries were simply to die for. (I definitely recommend dipping the bacon in the mayo). If we are ever in the Portland area again we’ll be sure to keep our eyes peeled for the Totally Awesome Vegan Food Truck. Thank you guys so much for an amazing surprise during our bike ride!!

I finally made it out to the Totally Awesome Vegan Food Truck and it’s totally insane it took me this long. Best vegan food in Portland. I got the Totally Awesome burger and fries, and my partner got a hot dog. All the food was amaaaaazing, and we cannot wait to come back to try the brunch!

Best vegan food in town. Family owned and operated. I’ve been following them for years and will continue to regardless of having a vegan diet or not. The brekky is to die for. The owners are so kind and create innovative vegan ingredients from scratch. Check their instagram to track down TAVFT.

This is an incredible food truck! They have amazing Vegan food that is always worth the visit: deliciously spicy Korean dogs, cheesy bacon fries, wonderfully juicy burgers, filling breakfast items, refreshing drinks, and more! It also seems that they’re always working on potential menu items, so it’s never long before a new offering appears to tantalize out tastebuds. Plus, the family that owns the truck is so very sweet that I never even mind waiting in the rain for my order if need be.
