Undoubtedly the best location for great drinks and good food while waiting for the next ferry. Brianna was the bar hostess and she made me the BEST Apple Martini I believe I’ve ever had. Her attention to detail and excellent hospitality at the bar is one of my best experiences here while having dinner. The atmosphere is great and the bar has exceptional varieties for you to enjoy a great cocktail while waiting and enjoying your meal. Because of my limited time, I ordered the Shrimp Cocktail and Baked Clams and it was delicious! Thanks to Tommy’s and a great bar hostess Brianna for making my day something to talk about. I am well of legal limit and was denied access to the bar tonight because my id scanned as potentially fake. I offered multiple solutions like bringing in a police officer or providing other forms of identification and the bouncer still refused. They said the cops would just agree with their fake scanner and were beyond rude to me and my boyfriend who just wanted to meet up with his friends within the bar. I would not recommend Tommy’s to any person visiting from out of state or anyone at all.

This is the second time I’ve been to Tommy’s and Port Jefferson. This bar is absolutely the best place not only in town, but also Long Island. I wouldn’t be leaving this review if not for Joe though. He’s pretty much the best bartender I’ve seen in the last decade. This gnarly quick witted dude has the world by the nuts yet chooses to wait on mere mortals. Catch him now because soon you’ll never be able to afford him again!

Everyone enjoyed their food. I had a Tommy’s burger with waffle fries….very tasty and filling. I love calamari, however, I thought theirs was ok, I’ve had better. My husband loved the wings and we all thought that the mozzarella sticks were yummy. Btw Tommy’s Place has a variety of food you can choose from, such as, pasta dishes, seafood entrees, steak, heros, etc.

Wonderful atmosphere in the heart of Port Jefferson. Customer service was very friendly and waitress was quick and got everything right. I don’t think she wrote our order down. Lighting is nice even in the day time (haven’t went at night yet)and place was very clean. Price was fair I usually spend 100-120 for just two people. There was a party of 4 end up spending about 85 which is with no drinks for all 4. Would recommend to anyone who will love to have fun and enjoy a really top notch restaurant.
