Rushed to the tunnel to find food after the food catered to our office turned out to be a terrible unseasoned mess. Found this place and ordered the Tom Yum Soup. Delicious! Saved my lunch hour during a food crisis! Thank you Time for Thai!

So I got the yellow curry chicken that was referred to me by a employee there and I tried it and I am very appreciative for the recommendation it’s not to spicy like he said and I love the taste!!!!

Decent food, prices a bit on the high side, it does get busy around 12pm due to the downtown lunch crowd.

If you’ve ever been to Thai Cottage this is the same place in a different format. They have a set number of dishes each day and you queue up to get them. There is a meal option which includes rice or fried rice as well as one or two entrees and a vegetarian crispy roll. It’s quite delicious. The only problem I’ve seen so far with this place is the line going on forever. I know people who have been 3 or 4 times a week since it opened two weeks ago. I love the curries, though I didn’t like the Chili Basil Chicken as much. However, that’s a preference thing, and certainly no reflection on the food as several friends liked it.

The wait was long and the Pad Thai was disgusting. They have one person taking and distributing orders. I asked for spicy but was told they put it on the side. What Thai restaurant can’t make the food spicy? To make matters worse I didn’t get the spicy sauce on the side. Waste of money.

One of my favorites in the tunnel for Asian food. They have added additional items to the menu, giving you more choices. The food is more fresh and more flavorful, now. Very friendly service. The prices are very nominal ($7.95 for the 2 sides plate, and $9.95 for the 3 sides plate), and reasonable. I’d recommend this place anytime.

After I heard about this place opening, I had to come check it out. When I lived in Arizona, the west cost version of Kroger is Fry’s Marketplace. Fry’s and Kroger are owned by the same people, but it’s under a different name out west. The Fry’s stores are basically like this, where they are primarily grocers, with extra items in store such as furniture, clothing, etc. I had to come check it out so I could compare it to what I’ve been missing since I moved back.

Time for Thai is a new eatery in the food court of the downtown tunnels and they were pretty popular for their inexpensive lunch combos. For $8 and some change, you get your choice of 2 entree items, rice, and an eggroll. And they give you a very generous serving of food, so generous in fact that you may end up taking some home with you. For my combo, I had the Pad Thai, Cashew Chicken, Egg Fried Rice, and the eggroll. The Cashew Chicken was very good, and the vegetables that it was served with was fresh tasting. The Pad Thai however was a little dried out and overcooked. It was good, but just dry. Certainly not a deal breaker, especially since they have other entree items to choose from. I tried the curry that a friend of mine ordered and it was delicious, so i’ll have to get that next time. The only issue I had were the lines. They were long and the bottleneck seemed to be at the register. I’m not sure if they had a new system they were trying to learn, but it was a little slow going, and they only had one person manning two registers while the line kept going. I’d give them 3.5 stars if it were possible, but for now, and at least until I get a chance to revisit, it’ll be 3 stars for now.
