We bought three pigs for our Christmas dinner this year and I must say it was really good !! The smoked turkey was just right and I can’t say enough about the BBQ beans !!! We also had the mac n cheese and the potato casserolee. The service at the truck at time of pickup was very polite & friendly. Thank you for a very enjoyable Christmas dinner, we will be back !!!!

Got the pulled pork with Cole slaw then topped the slaw with their sauce on the sandwich and it was a good combo. The regular is a good size. Cheesy corn was ok, not the style I expected. Potato casserole was good.

I ordered a slab of rib with two sides at the pink cowgirl event tonight in Independence from your trailer. When I got home, the ribs were very tough and I had only one side was very disappointed because I ordered the potato casserole and baked beans. The baked beans were mostly barbecue sauce with only a little bit of beans I won’t ever do this again you used to be one of my favorites of the American royal When it was in the bottoms. Disappointing today. This was the mobile unit that sits at 39th & Noland Rd in Independence. Ribs were raw on the inside, peeled open a few pieces as seen, really pink with outsides on a few burnt hard. Might try to cook them this week but we’re not edible and maybe not a good idea. Sauce not included had to ask. Only doing a review because I recommend the location and feel bad having done so.

We tried this place because the reviews were awesome and it was right next to our hotel. It was average BBQ that I could get almost anywhere. The turkey was dry and not that good. The pulled pork was dry too but at least tasted good. The burnt ends were the best part of the meal. The brisket was very good.

I’ve always heard great things about this truck and after walking around santa Cali gon and finding no new food Iwanted to try, I decided to stop at the truck. The service was absolute trash. The guy was rude, no eye contact (which isn’t a huge deal), not an ounce of customer service skill at all. On to the food, I got the two meat meal with brisket and turkey with beans and corn as a side and a half slab of ribs with Mac n cheese and potato salad. The ribs have ZERO seasoning on it. Very bland. The sauce is good and is the only way they might get eaten. The turkey is very dry but the brisket was decent. Again, you have to eat it with the sauce. I haven’t tried the sides yet but I don’t have much hope for them either. Complete waste of time and money. Even though the service was garbage, I still tipped and even asked the guy if he was having a bad day. He said “nope just got here” who shows up to work already in a foul mood? I will not be returning here and will not be recommending it to anyone.

I thought I was the only one that thought the guy was rude until I seen all the reviews. Been A couple of times the guy is always rude. I even say thank you to him and he doesn’t respond. Probably the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with food was dry. I think if it Isn’t for their sauce this place would’ve gone under already all their food is microwaved because they have them in tubs in the cooler behind him pre-cooked barbecue very dry I never leave reviewss Honestly, but this guy’s attitude made me Give this place a very bad review probably the worst barbecue in the city
