I love Theo’s pizza. I have struggled to find a good pizza that has the thinner crust (not so bready) and that is a little crunchy. Theo’s delivers on both fronts and the toppings are yum tastic. I once ordered Thai food from next door for me and a sub for my husband. But when I walked into Theo’s the pizza smelled so good I grabbed a slice of that for dinner and saved the Thai for lunch the next day.

I have been ordering from this place for years, but I will NEVER DO THAT AGAIN!!! This was my go to place in Melrose. I used to order maybe 3-5 times a month. My husband and I ordered food last night. The delivery driver took the $2.00 tip with an attitude. (This place charges for a delivery fee.) He was yelling and cursing very loud when he walked away from our door and proceeded to the elevator. A neighbor of mine encountered him in the elevator, where he continued to curse and complain. I called to speak to the owner today. She was very apologetic and professional. She told me that she and her husband have been in business for 20 years and the driver was in the wrong. I then received a phone call from a man. I am assuming it was her husband he yelled at me and was defending the driver. The driver was yelling and cursing. How can people run business like this in Melrose???? Stay clear of them and their questionable staff. I have never been yelled at from a business owner for making a complaint about an employee. I guess good help is hard to find.

After ordering on slice and waiting over an hour for the pizza that was supposed to arrive in 30-45 minutes. I was told that the store would refuse a refund because they had tried to call me three times (WHICH THEY HAD NOT, NO CALL LOGS AND MY PHONE DID NOT RING). I will never be ordering from this pizza place ever again. Very disappointing I do not recommend this or the slice app which I will be leaving a similar review.

I have gone in for pizza and salads, food is ok. I am posting this because of the multiple bad experiences that I have had in person and most recently over the phone. I am not sure if it is the owner or who it is but there is a fairly larger older man that is ALWAYS screaming at this shop, and is absolutely rude! I have come in to the shop many times for pick up- they may think that because they are speaking in a different language that I don’t understand them, yet I can understand everything they say, it is extremely rude and disrespectful, the employees look like they are under so much pressure and the way they are spoken to is really harsh and inappropriate. We will not ever be ordering from here again. Recently ordered food and they delivered to the wrong address when I called delivery driver back unfortunately I couldn’t communicate because he barely spoke any English and didn’t get a call back until about 30 minutes after, no resolution, except saying “your food got delivered to the wrong address you entered and its probably cold by now” continued to laugh it off in a very bullying manner. I tried to explain we ordered from here allot, he did not care. This was a frequent place for lunch and after this neither I or my place of business will be buying from this place again. You just lost a large amount of customers, over a small order- that could have been resolved in a different manner.

Possibly the best “Friday Food” in Melrose. Once again, we have been ordering from Theo’s for 3 years and have never been disappointed. The delivery has always been fast and the food delicious. Theo’s has excellent tuna subs and the best mozzarella sticks around. The wings are also great.
