Love, love, love this place! Big, bold flavors are on the menu. The pulled pork with the white sauce creates a luscious, mouth-watering bite that you keep wanting more off. It’s smoked and seasoned and the baked beans are packed with flavor. The pineapple pudding is a fresh take on banana pudding that was really great. The decor is gorgeous and comfortable, just my style. I can’t wait to get back to Jasper.

Great food. Authentic. They love their mayonnaise and some of the creamiest sides you can find in a barbecue restaurant in North Alabama. Well done, but be prepared for Corn casserole and potato salad that are the creamiest. I enjoyed them, but not everyone did. The meats were about as good as you can get.

Friendly counter-order style and neat repurposed interior with 10 4-tops seating. Prob does more to-go business. Prices little on the steep side (BBQ plate + 2 sides/drink $16), but what is affordable these days–ya’ know??

My family just had our Reunion in Cullman. We used Sons Smokehouse to cater the event. Our experience was 5 stars from start to finish. We chose from their selection on food items and was amazed how good our food taste. . I would recommend their catering service to anyone.

1/2 chicken plate, the chicken was absolutely delicious and fresh, the corn casserole has way to much butter, there was a puddle in the bottom, Mac and cheese was also delicious, 2 plates and 2 sides and a bbq sandwich was $40

We stopped her on a cross country road trip because it was rated the best around. We were pleasantly surprised when an older gentleman approached us after we were done eating to ask if we wanted to try a banana pudding or pineapple pudding FREE of charge! After some reluctance, we agreed and he went to the back kitchen to get it. We didn’t catch his name, but his picture is on the wall with a HUGE bass! We just wanted to say THANK YOU, and that the food was delicious!

OK. I’m giving some props to Alabama for smoking some great Brisket! Big portions, counter service, perfect Brisket and smoked wings and the sides are killer too. The corn casserole has a kick to it and was like none I’ve ever had. So good. If you’re in Jasper then give Son’s Smokehouse a visit.
