When you come in, you are able to seat yourself. The place wasn’t crowded at all. We went on a Thursday night around 630PM. We had Parker as our server. He informed us that it was his first week there but he did an amazing job. We had a party of six and he got everything right the first time. I got the fried pickles. They had a little kick to them but were extremely good. I also got the BBQ Bacon Burger. It came out hot from the kitchen and was on some toasted bread. You can’t really go wrong with a BBQ Bacon Burger. It was good but the patty could have been seasoned a little more. It was good to me though. The fries were ok. They didn’t have much salt or seasoning. I couldn’t eat the fries but everything else was good.

Went with a friend who loves the jumbo wings. The wings, hamburgers and sandwiches looked delicious. I chose the blackened chicken wrap. Really good! The place was empty except for our party of ten. The waitress brought out seven dishes but the other three took a lot longer, which was awkward for the table. Not sure if it was a kitchen or server issue. Same thing happened with the checks. Seven came out and three much later. I can’t imagine what it would have been like if it had been busy.

I haven’t been to The Watering Hole in downtown Lincoln for at least ten years. The grilled wings are still some of the best wings I’ve ever had! The only thing I wish this place had would be their old atmosphere (even though the place looks great on the inside).

Went for lunch on a day with very few patrons and it took way too long to get our food. The food was good when it came out. The server also did a good job.

I had the extra spicy jalapeno wings. They aren’t that spicy once you put some ranch to it and have a great taste to them. I couldn’t finish my tator tots and I had just 6 wings. It was very filling!

The food was great service was a little bit slow somebody ditched and there was only one person there to serve only 23people if I remember my count I have served more than that good thing the bar wasn’t full you wouldn’t get a drink love playing the pickle cards

Nice local bar. Great selection of Nebraska craft beers. The staff, especially the bartender, were friendly and engaging. Only stopped in for something to drink but the food looked and smelled incredible. A second visit is in order.

Nothing beats hot wings on a cold day! Comfy atmosphere, upbeat waiter, classic rock and the best wings in town the grilled wings take longer but they are so worth the wait.
