The food was amazing, we had appetizers, steak, and salad. The atmosphere was great, a real old world feel. Beware if you have allergies as they have a large dog that wonders the restaurant. The prices a very high and they apply a 20% gratuity to every ticket regardless of party size, for this reason I am one and done.

We have known about this place for many years and finely made a reservation for eating here. All I can say is WOW!! It is a fine dining place in a historic hotel on the beach. Please keep in mind that a 20% gruitity is automatically added to your bill.

The food was absolutely amazing, with portions big enough to satisfy ANY size hunger. The atmosphere was peaceful and cozy, with a house dog that made the rounds and checked on everyone. Lol. There were flowers everywhere, and the tables were spaced with an appropriate distance to enjoy conversations with others or to dine peacefully. The service was top notch, even though the place was full of patrons. I’m definitely excited to go back again. You won’t be disappointed. 5 out of 5 stars!

Rude non-existent service. Food was top-notch. Not a fan of overly explicit explanations like naming Products on menu after people. Like, Georgia’s air loom zucchini from Bay shores. It’s a zucchini. Slamming drinks down on table then running off. If a sever host or owner asks a guest a question they should wait for a response before they runaway. We understand it’s a small business and there was 31 people at the time just after we arrived (who we knew) keeping composure in stressful situations is a mark of professionalism. There was none of this. We drove two hours got hotel room called ahead said it was our anniversary, no one acknowledged our anniversary or even talked to us more than 30 sec. No substitution on a menu at a place like this is pretentious. That kind of thing is only done at Michelin starred restaurants of which this is definitely not. Do yourself a favor and go to Westport Winery Grill and wine shop, at least they know how to treat a guest.

Not a place for someone who isn’t an animal lover! We had two different cats join us on a spare seat at the table and enjoyed watching a rotund Labrador make the rounds begging at each table. We found it an absolute delight, but I can’t imagine it’s for everyone.

What an amazing and historical place! Surrounded by an eclectic mix of found furniture, procured with obvious purpose, the farmhouse meets ranch feel really matches the delicious food and historic hotel located on the grounds as well. Everything here appears to be house made. The servers were friendly and considerate, the atmosphere so relaxing. Make the detour to Tokeland and make this a destination!

Great funky atmosphere, really good fried chicken, and wandering cats and dog.

Was in Tokeland and realized we didn’t have dinner plans, seemed like our only two options were here or the casino. This is the better choice, hands down.

This place has it all: local food, fantastic drinks, an incredible view, a house dog and cat, and great service. Can’t recommend this place enough.
