Spacious restaurant with delicious food: perfect for dine in and parties of all size.
We had our little one’s 2nd birthday party here, they were very accommodating and the food was delicious. Our guests absolutely loved it.
They have separate room for decorations and cake table where you can have privacy while the floor is open for your guests with ample of tables to sit.
The new manager Ravi is very friendly and offered us few surprises food items like goat curry, chicken curry and sweets.
Their cakes/pastries are awesome so don’t forget to add them to your menu.

Quality of food is magnanimous.
1. No stomach upset
2. No bloated
3. No bad breath or smell
4. No burfs
Quantity, quality is fantastic and price is shockingly reasonable
Family of 4 with kids(6 yr old and 3 yr old) had the food.
We all are enjoyed with greatest taste of Indian food without any stomach problem. ( Kovakkai fry is bit salty apart from the rest are delicious).
My kids enjoyed Deserts and Kesar mango lassi.
I preferred Mutton biryani which is amazing taste.
Overall the entire family loved the food and ambiance.

Great restaurant! The dining room was closed due to a temporary issue with the A/C, but the owner gave me a seat at the bar and was helpful with recommendations. I cose Curry goat served with Naan. So tasty. Perfect level of spice and flavor! I will return the next time I am in town. Weekend buffet is supposed to be great. Affordable entrees.

Probably the best Indian restaurant right now in the entire Albany-Troy-Schenectady region hands down. It is only a pity this restaurant started operating as I am preparing to relocate from this area.
They have a fantastic chef who is able to deliver a distinctive flavor to each entree instead of it all tasting like the same bland curry with different meats/vegetables thrown in.The Chicken 555/Chicken 65 as starters and the Chef’s special goat curry as the main course is a must try. I’d say to not go for the Chicken Manchurian because that felt more like General Tso’s Chicken instead of the more familiar distinct flavor of IndoChinese cuisine that I always loved back home.
The dine in service is good as well. They were maintaining proper protocols in observance of the present situation.
My slight complaint is that the food, despite being so well prepared by the resident chef, would sometimes come in a bit cold during some of my visits. Maybe it’s because they are a still new restaurant and they haven’t yet got the logistics right. So if you feel your food might be taking some more time than necessary, don’t be shy to enquire of it from the staff.

we went to the Saturday buffet at 9 spice and it was one of the worst experience we had. Kadai paneer was very watery. And the service was also not good. The food was not properly cooked (manchurian was too hard) and it was so cold. We informed the people working there to heat it up but nothing was done. They took 30-45 minutes to refill everything. They told us that they had a big order which they need to complete so that’s why there was a delay. To complete that order they compromised the quality of our food. The experience was VERY BAD.

I can’t recommend this place enough. I discovered this restaurant last year and nothing compares. The food is so good and the service is great! I go a couple times a month because at this point I am addicted. I get the butter chicken and samosas every single time. The chicken is so soft and the curry is outstanding. I usually alternate between the garlic naan and the cheese kulcha which is a type of naan that is stuffed with cheese. The samosas are amazing and so flavorful. This has got to be the best Indian restaurant in the capital region for sure. I can’t wait to go back!!

AMAZING!!! We hosted our kids birthday party at 9 Spices and it was an amazing experience, super tasty food, really nice owners, reasonable price!
P.S. Don’t miss Chilli Paneer & PBM/ CBM, they serve the best Naan (thin).

We came here out of state and it looked like a clean place (which it was mostly) we ordered 3 appetizers and 3 entrees. They all came out in different order and the food was cold and old it was not made fresh at all you can tell they just heated it up…the biryani had no flavor they said it was Hyderabadi dum biryani but they had just cooked the rice separately added some color and than added a chicken they use in another dish on top..the rice was also hard like plastic and the chicken tikka masala was SWEET and flavorless…..it was not authentic indian food more like white washed food…the restaurant had almost 80-100 seating space but their bathrooms did not work according to them which is weird for such a large Restaurant and weird for both men and womans bathroom to be out of order at the same time. Anyways wont be coming here again wasted $85 for 2 ppl and we left all the food. I would give a 0 star if I could

This restaurant are saving money by giving this type of onion and lemon in the take out orders. I will report the same to health department. Even this restaurant owner don’t eat that type of onions and lemon in his food. Literally you people are playing with people’s lives. I am very disappointed. I need your explanation why this was happened.
