First time visitors and what a fun place. Walk up to counter to order from chalk board menu. Large vegan/vegetarian menu and lots of breakfast/lunch selections. Great selections of fresh breads for sandwiches. Nice coffee and tea bar. Ordered a tuna melt on rye and a chicken salad salad. Very tasty and well worth the visit.

This has been my go to spot for more than a year. The coffee is great with non dairy options. Pretty large vegan/vegetarian menu. The specials are varied and delicious. Customer service is amazing, they always recommend things they think I’ll like and remember repeat customers. Gets very busy in tourist season and the parking can be packed at noon so plan ahead.

Great little place. Food was excellent. Got the Blue Ridge Bagel based on the staff recommendation and it did not disappoint. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area.

Came here with my family. The food was delicious. I had a burrito supreme and the trio salad plate to split with my family. It was all very good. The prices were reasonable as well. I believe the only thing some of us did not like was the grits. Kind of picky about grits though so take that comment with a grain of salt. Would strongly suggest!

Friendliest staff! We had breakfast & it was so reasonably priced, prepared fast & served hot! Omelette was delicious! Bathrooms were spotless. Lots of homemade options for grab & go as well.

This place was not what I was expecting at all. If you want to set down and have a good country breakfast served then this is not the place. Not very welcoming when you walk up to the counter to order. The chalk board menu is menu is hard to see and very overwhelming to look at. I ordered pancakes eggs and bacon and the only thing I could eat was the eggs. The microwave pancakes are better then what they gave me not to mention not one of them was hot and the bacon was like jerky. You also eat on paper plates and plastic silverware.

Let’s start by saying I do not give 5 stars. Having eaten around the world and at a few Michelin restaurants, it really has to be over the top epic or unique culinary experience. So what can I say? …Sunrise is awesome. The diverse menu board can be a bit daunting the first time, so many choices, then there is the option to just make something up. (They can more than likely make it). Also, they have Blue Zone menue options and the best coffee choices in town, again endless options. My favorite is a non menue item; the Zack melt. Chicken salad, smoked provolone, bacon on a focaccia bread. Pickle on the side…perfection. A must try is the smoked gouda soup (when they have it). For a hole in the wall eatery, it exceeds all expectations. It’s a great local place that’s been around for decades. Check out the local artwork for sale while you are there.
