The overall experience was top notch. Food was great. Our waiter was friendly and attentive but we had a couple seated next to us and their conversation was making us uncomfortable. Not the fault of the restaurant of course but killed the atmosphere a bit. Oyster apps were delicious and the Pork ribeyes were tender and juicy. Pricey but if you want upscale Cajun food it is worth it.

The Char-grilled oysters Fantastic, I really enjoyed the Cajun deviled eggs, the Redfish, crab stuffed flounder & the fried seafood platter was delicious & great portions also had a bread pudding to go was very good! The employees were very friendly but the atmosphere inside was a little too loud. But other than that little thing, everything was wonderful.

Absolutely amazing food! It was a teeny bit slow to get our meal but it was worth the wait. The prices are a little higher than what you expect at a family oriented restaurant, but the taste proves why it’s set at that. I will happily eat here again.

Coming from out of town for my favorite cousins funeral and was recommended to eat at this restraunt. Originally, I walked into my party being accosted due to one of the children’s clothing being out of “dress code.” Which was very dissapointed as it was a hot day my family was just coming from a funeral we were all dressed nicer than majority of the people in the restraunt and still had an issue, the staff had attitudes at first and it wasn’t very welcoming they told us we only had 30 minutes to eat and then we had to leave because they didn’t want us inside due to the child’s clothing. Lucky for them, our server DJ did a very good job trying to jokingly bring positivity back to the unwelcoming atmosphere and made us feel a little bit more welcomed. One thing I can say about that “30” minute time frame was that was the quickest service ever they got us in and out which honestly was not a bad thing at all as we were all tired and grieving and still had to drive 3 hours back home. The food was hot and very good, chef did a great job. Got a Jack Daniel’s and coke and man it was strong. I loved it, and as I said, DJ was a very good server and pretty much saved this entire review. Manager came through, and she was nice as well and apologized said she wanted to make sure everything was going well originally she didn’t greet us with a smile so we thought she was coming to rush us out because they constantly kept reminding us of the time frame. But surprisingly after we addressed it, she was able to calmly let us know she was just checking on us. Unlike whoever was the greeter at the front desk on 03/25, she needs retraining. No one wanted to have to be disrespected on the day of our families funeral, and we did indeed feel very disrespected.

The food, ambiance, service, and atmosphere was 5 stars. My husband and I went for a lunch date and it was such a great experience. I am very nitpicky about my food from the seasoning to the presentation and I had zero complaints which is very rare for me . We sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive and efficient. The food was fresh, hot and seasoned to perfection . The drinks were strong and on point .we will surely be back again . The price was good and we got plenty of food because we ordered lunch specials.

If you want to know anything about any of the liquors that they have talk to Tabby! She is so knowledgeable! The food is top notch! Also definitely try Tan’s Mignonette sauce, you will not be disappointed.
